Workers
The worker is your most basic transport unit in Evony. You will pretty much only use them early on, as the transporters you will get later in the game are much better. Workers can only carry 200 resources each, which is way less than the transporters that can carry 5,000 resources. The worker is pretty useless in battle and dies very easily. All in all it’s pretty much the worst troop in Evony, and don’t build any more of them than just enough to build cities.

What is the minimuum number of workers to colonize a new city. I though I read you need 5000 workers and 10 K of each resource to colonize a a city. Correct me if I am wrong.

You only need 250 workers and 10k of each resource.

you don’t need any workers to colonize a city. If you wish to build a new city you must have 250 workers and 10k or each resource.
