Video Guide for conquering level 10 NPC
This is a video of me conquering a level 10 NPC village today after the new patch. The sounds is not that great, but I had a lot of fun making it so I decided to post it anyways. This is from 1. June after the ballista nerf patch, and even with this patch conquering a level 10 NPC isn’t that difficult. It took me 42 minutes from first attack till it was conquered. Here are the video and the troops that I used as well as losses.
Time: 42 minutes.
Troops used.
Archers: 210,000
Warriors: 175,000
Ballistas: 10,800
Losses.
Archers: 53,000
Warriors: 48,000
Ballistas: 0
I’m also looking at the Queen of Evony submissions in between attacks, that might not be too interesting for you to watch, but it’s boring just sitting there waiting. Anyways the video is pretty long, so I’ve only posted the first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes. Please do leave comments.

awesome work, ty again for sharing XD can I ask ( as I’ve never taken a city) how many times you hit the npc after the initial strike with ballis, war and arch? and can I do this with lvl 9 rally, and feasting hall?

The respawn is 40k warriors at a time, so you if you hit often enough, once every 6 minutes at least you should never hit more than 40k archers, plus the fortifications that is. I guess I made like 50 attacks on it totalt, maybe a few more. It should be no problem to do it with a level 9 rally and feasting hall, 9 to 10 is not much of a difference. I took my first level 10 NPC with a level 9 rally and a level 8 feasting hall.

Very interesting, educational for sure. Props to you for doing the guide as well.
I was wondering about your losses on the attack with ballista and the very next wave, what losses can I expect? I suppose every wave after that is minimal losses.
Can you post a link to your battle report of ballista wave and the battle report of the very next wave, I think you use 28K archers and 50K warriors.

Question: I never saw you send the cavalry. Does that mean you don’t need to take abatis down before the town is yours?

Ha that was funny about laughing on the ”queens” stuff,Hey thats stuff you got ther eis on server 1 right? im close to you on server 4 but..neeh on 4 u dont seem to play that often
.Nice done But im still lacking on ballistas/archers to do that kind of waving yet,althoguht that was nice its good to learn something on youtube videos

Nice,
But with my current rpestige lvl 33K, it would take some time before I can pull off a stunt like that.
But I did learn something very important here.
I basically attack hills and valleys also using the warrior/archer combo.
No different with NPC’s but on a larger scale.

I took a lvl 10 with a 170 attack hero… BUT I did it with ALOT less troops… NO ballistas 150k archers and 80k warriors TOTAL.
Hit with a war ensign the first hit of 110k archers 2k transports.

you cant use only ballistas they have defensive trbuchets i would use lots of swordsman instead of warriors to minimize the casualtys

A lot of questions on here didn’t get answered.
If you want to use ballistas to attack a level 10 npc you use 34,000. Also an attack hero over 125.
I’ve taken 2 level 10 npc’s with 100k archers/warriors and used 3 waves at a time. First strike was 95k archers 2600 pikeman 200 warriors/swords and 2k trans.
Then I did 30k warriors on 3 waves right after. When everything came back. I did 30k archers/warriors per attack in waves until I took it. By the end I had enough for 20k archers/warriors in waves.
Remember to scout and find a low level hero guarding the npc. I now farm them every day on Server 72.
Tips – #1. Use a war ensign on the fisrt wave to send some extra archers.
#2. Use a war horn to get your attack power up to minimize losses.
#3. If you have it use penicilin so you can heal more of the troops.
Both times I have taken one I have lost about 30k archers/warriors.
It seems impossible to defeat one without losses at this point.

Thanks for the comments, usefull for people to know the ballista numbers too. This guide was written a long time ago, and the videos don’t work anymore unfortunately, will see if I can get that changed.

1 best way to conquer lvl 10 npc is to use 100k catapracts and 200k cavalrys.5 minutes only and its done as horses really move fast. 1st big wave is 100k catapracts. no layers. it’ll break the big defence. very minimum loss followed immediately by 8 waves of 25k cavs. heal the troops after the attack and waiting for their return. when the last 8th wave of the cavs will hit the npc, the 1st wave has already got home and on its way again to continue the waves. this time send 9 waves of 20k cavs and then 10k and you’ll get the city then. 5mins only.
