Teleport around to gain honor
Teleporing around to gain honor quickly is actually quite a lot of fun, it’s really effective if you’ve run out of good targets in your area. I’ve done it a few times, and gained honor quite easily this way. What you need is an army large enough to defend one village against most attacks, at least 50k archers and 100k warriors, as well as a few teleport scrolls. Teleports are pretty cheap, only $3 each, but the best is to win them with your amulets of course.
Anyways, what you do is to choose one village you don’t want to keep, just take one from a neighbour if you want. Upgrade the rally and feasting hall here to the level that you need, at least 7 I’d say. Then you fill this village up with all the troops you need, can be all the troops you have if you’re in a quiet area, and also fill it up with enough gold and food to last for 3-4 days, or as long as you want to keep doing this.
One thing is very important though, make sure you have enough transports to get all your troops home from a 3-4 hour distance, in case you land far away with your last teleport.
Now the fun begins, just teleport that village to some random area far away. By teleporting you will now have a new area to honor farm, hopefully with a bunch of weak players. Even if you land close to strong players they can’t really attack you, since you only have one village there with a massive army in it.
Now you can just spend a day or two attacking everyone around you for honor, as long as they don’t have a larger army than you of course. They’ll probably get angry at you, but they can’t really do much as long as they don’t find out where your other villages are. When you run out of targets here, teleport to a new area and repeat. With one teleport left you should teleport to your home area, so that you get close enough to send your army home. With the army safely home you abandon your teleport village, you don’t really need it anymore. Have fun!

this is really a stupid strategy. it’s going to take so much time to take a “village” and make it so that it could sustain an army that massive. you’d end up losing a large amount of troops to refuge.

It’s not a stupid strategy. Like he said, fill it up with enough food and gold to last. If you’re an idiot and don’t calculate to put enough food in it, obviously you’re going to lose troops to refuge. But if you know what you’re doing, you will be able to attack so many people without fear of retribution and in turn gain massive amounts of honor. Don’t knock it just because you didn’t read. No one said to have the town produce enough food to sustain. You just put food in and let it slowly eat it while you attack, then you send your troops home before they starve.

I saw this and when joining an alliance and they told me to teleport I agreed. It was the worst choice. First of all, I did not get one single honor point after teleporting. Maybe it was meant that you only get honor for doing new things, scouting and attacking new places, but before I teleported I had three cities next to each other. Afterward, they were 100 miles apart (in the same territory) so I could not reinforce one city from another and I was immediately attacked which TOOK ALL my honor points. I barely had 1,000 archers in each city this person attacked with 60,000 archers.

@Nickers
I’m terribly sorry that you went unprepared. I don’t know why your alliance would have told you to try it if you had so few archers. In order to do this successfully you need upwards of 100k archers. Obviously you have to already be powerful in order for this to work. And of course you have to attack to get honor. You can’t just get honor for a teleport.

A better way is to use advance teleport….this way you can use your best city and land where ever you want…right next to someone thats been hassleing one of your members for example….when you are done…..simply teleport right back to where you want to be
i think this is an expensive way….but what fun to attack someone that isn’t answering a hello message (they not online
)…
and to then dissapear….lovely job

Remember that using Advance Teleport will leave you unable to move troops out of that city for 24 hours. Make sure you have the troops and food, or you are dead. Had someone try this against our alliance a while ago, and we just ate him alive before he could even scout.

if we have 2 cities and want to teleport to other state also still in process of some upgrading building and research, can we teleport the cities? will it go together?

I did this initial with 2 cities. I would buy advanced teleports usually 10 at a time. I had these 2 cities built up to level 9 across the board, then I bought about 2 dozen Michalangelio Scripts and up graded my walls to 10, my barracks, town hall, and other stuff that needed, I then waited until I had 1 million in Gold and my food was full. I had built up over 100k archers, and over 100k warriors, plus I had 50k light calvary and 20k swordsmen in each city. I found some very large cities on the map as I looked around, I sent out hello’s to them and found out when they would answer, so I staged my teleport to occur when they just went off line. Most people only go on once a day, some 2 times, but again most just once a day, some when they get big only a few times a week. I hit them boys so hard, when they got on line, I had taken over their city and then abondoned it. It became a NPC city then. I bet tears came to a few eyes. I have hit over 79 cities ranging from 20,000 prestige to over 150k prestige. I love to hit them after midnight, I stay up all night just to watch their city disappear. Sometimes it happens in the first hour and I think how pittifull. They couldn’t even put up a good fight. Got to love bending them boys over and pulling their pants down and hitting them with your hose, nuts just a slapping their ass as you pound that hole! Then as their soldiers die, I get this rush and know I Lord Slayer have destroyed their city and they have to either start over or build a new one if they have another city. In one night I destroy a player’s 3 cities. The next day when he logged on and he had no cities, they where wiped out must have been devistating to him. I bet he cried like a little girl? I wish I could have been their to see that! Starting over must be terrible. And yes, I have a second set of cities (I play under 2 different names) and I always send him a hello, with a message of what happened, can you please explain why your cities are gone? I have had several replies, all of them filled with crying, most with disbelief, and a few with anger. I keep the names of the angry, so I can do it to them again, I look for them!
One last thought, I am getting so big and powerful with my 2 players (8 cities in one and 7 in the other) that I am thinking of taking out a small alliance. Now to chose which one, I have narrowed it to 7 possibilities. When I build my second player to 8 cities, I will then dispatch 3 cities at a time to destroy the players in the alliance. I have found a way thru Evony to get coordinates on all the people in a alliance. What a break thru. Now the fun will begin. Oh, yes, I do have a central area I have at least 5-7 cities in at all times. So come get some if you can find Lord Slayer. If you find me, I will give you half a million in gold. Good hunting, because I am hunting you! And I have no alliance, I just destroy cities for the pure fun of it and steal all your resources.
Anybody brave enough to come looking? Don’t worry, I have more cities than you do and more troops. And lots of advance teleports to play with, so I can put my cities where I want, when I want.
I am your Lord and Master, bow your knee to me, or taste the metal of my sword!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as soon as I saw this post and noticed it said “this is the best way to gain honor” i knew this person had no idea what they were talking about. honor is the worst thing in this game it’s hurts you more than anything. if you have more honor than your opponent you get a lower troops return.
using cities as a stepping stone is a ok idea though..

Nah, stupid idea, if you want honor (and have a spare city or two devoted to it), just build a shit-load of scouts (I’m saying upwards of 500K and 100K in each city), harass somebody really big, and defend your main city as they keep scouting.
I inadvertantly did this, and went from about 2.5mil honor to over 9mil honor overnight, by killing over a dozen 100K scout scouting parties sent to that city.

Honor is not even a good thing to have the higher your honor the less your medic recovery rate better to be able to cure a larger number of troops.

seriously you crazy sick freak get psychological help IMMEDIATELY. Are you proud? you are pathetic. this is a game. try applying half his enthusiasm to life.. minus the pathological obsession with raping people.. and you might actually amount to something REAL.

Why would you want to gain honor? its not a good thing, really…. if you battle with somebody, the person with lowest honor gets much better heal rate, sometimes 50% can be healed, compared to 10% for the guy with hihgher honor

About the weirdest strategy i ever heard
Honor you don’t want, neither here nor in Evony one.
Honor stops you from healing, the more honor you get the less you can heal.. Maybe this guy was joking? Like those telling you to build warehouses huh
As for how to throw that idiotic honor away. Make two scoutwaves as you “colonize’ someone. A 100k a piece, then let them die. That will give the poor bastard you tried to colonize 200 000 honor about which then will stop him from haling about all he can. Then colonize him for real.. Just make sure he’s strong enough to handle those 2 scout waves you send first..
Ir works in EV1 and it works here. And that Lord slayer sounds pathetic
There are Bozos like him in all games, to much money, to big egos and all to little sense. If you find yourself in such an alliance do yourself a favor. Get a better one.
Cheers
