Evony Age 2 Guide

In Evony Age 1 the workshop was a pretty useless building. The only thing you needed the workshop for was as a prerequisite for building walls and for researching metal casting. Metal casting is a prerequisite for defense mechanics.

Anyways, with Evony Age 2 the workshop has become a much more important building. Now you need the workshop to be able to make gear for your heroes. Having good gear for your heroes is really important, as most heroes are very weak without being equipped with decent gear. You need certain resources to be able to produce hero gear, and this changes depending on what level of gear you want to make. You can read more about gear making here.

The workshop is also were you upgrade your gear’s star levels, you can read more about star levels and how to upgrade these levels in my guide to star levels.

There are five type of resources boxes you can buy in the Evony Age II store, that is the riding rain, the iron ore box, the wooden box, the gemstone box and the fabric box. These boxes contain the resources you need to produce gear for your heroes in your workshop. Each each box contain 2-4 of the resource. I believe you can get the resources inside these boxes from attacks on both NPCs, valleys and other players. The resources are Wood, Iron Ore, Thorough Breds, Gemstones and Fabric.

You need to use Lost Armor Scripts to make gear in your workshop from level 3 and beyond. The easiest way to get your hands on these lost armor scripts is to buy them in the Evony store. You can buy one lost armor script there for 40 cents. It is also possible to get these lost armor scripts from attacking NPCs, just the same way as you would get Michelangelo’s scripts. I believe you can get them from PvP attacks as well.

There are lots of new cool features in Evony Age II Beta! It is hard to get on to the Evony II Beta server, as there is only room for 10,000 players. Inactives are deleted every 24 hours however, so keep trying every day until you get in. We have gathered a lot of information about Age II here, click the links for more details.

Building a new city in Evony is actually quite easy. First you need to have a high enough title, to build your second village you need to be a Knight. You get to that title by following the promotion quests, and you need the items in your beginner package. You find your package under the package symbol top left on your screen.
