The Senior Battalion is an Evony item which grants you 100-200 archers, 150-250 swordsmen, 200-250 scouts and 200-300 pikemen. Most people feel the swordsmen and pikesmen have little worth. The Senior Battalion is equivalent to about 300 archers. It should be noted that this item cannot be bought through the Evony Store. Senior Battalion can only be obtained by spinning the Wheel of Fortune.

The wheel of fortune introduces gambling to the online browser game Evony. At the wheel of fortune you can gamble with Evony coins in hopes of winning big prizes. In browser game Evony you can only attack with 100,000 troops total at any given time, that is if you have a level 10 rally point. Sometimes being able to increase this number of troops can be very useful, later in game armies get huge after all. The War ensign is the item you can use to increase the number of troops you can send in one attack by 25%. You just click the item to use it, then you will see that you can send 125,000 as the new total number of troops from your rally point. The item costs 30 cents, and you will also frequently get it in the wheel of fortune.
