Evony Age 2 Guide

The War Horn is an item in Evony which when applied, will increase the strength of your attacking troops by 20%. The duration of this item is 24 hours. This item can be stacked with other ‘Horn’ effects, but note that the strength percentages remain the same, but it’s actually the time that stacks. There is much confusion with some players when it comes to using the War Horn.You can apply this items while troops are marching. This item is available for purchase for an Evony Price of 10 cents.

A Evony rainbow attack is layering your main attack troop, usually archers or cavalry, with other types of troops to reduce losses. In these attacks on a level 10 NPC barbarian city the player looses almost no troops at all cause of his layering. The troops used are archers, warriors, workers and transports, 100k troops total. It is very important that you have maximum technologies when trying this, and you also need a hero with 130 or more attack power. The higher attack power of your hero the lower losses you will have. You can also use penicillin and war horn to reduce losses even more. The numbers of different troops used in both of these attacks are listed below.

Everyone knows that to manage to feed a large army you need to farm NPCs over and over. You start out with farming NPCs with ballistas, and you keep ballista farming level 5 NPCs for quite a long time. At some point your army will grow so large that you can’t keep up with the food eaten just farming level 5 NPCs.

Now you have to move over to level 10 NPCs, and the best way to farm these is with archers. Over at the Evony forum a player name DCJerboa made a thread about a week ago with the list of about 50 of the best NPC level 10 attacks, and the list gives lots of information about how to minimize your losses. Like most other browser strategy games Evony finances itself by having an in game item shop where players can buy useful items for the game with real money. To buy items in the shop you first have to exchange your real money to evony coins, usually at the rate of 10 coins for $1 US.

The prices in the shop varies a lot, some items are way overpriced in my opinion compared to others. The most expensive item is the ritual of pact, costing you 500 coins or $50 at the usual exchange rate! This is quite an expensive item, it is however needed to increase the alliance size to 100 members. The cheapest item and the most popular one by far is the aries amulet that let you spin the wheel of fortune. You can buy one of these for only 5 Evony cents. Lots of people have asked this questions for some reason, so here is a list of what the Christmas package as well as the Christmas chests contain. You need a key to open a special christmas chest. When you got a key and open it you will receive a random assortment of chest A, B or C. When it comes to the Santa’s milk an cookies that you all get for Christmas, you should start using them today and use one every day. A couple of days ago they put out a new patch that changed the effect of quite a few of the items you can buy in Evony. A pretty good update in my opinion, since most of these items have been pretty useless before. It’s also nice to see a change that doesn’t involve nerfing something.
