The town hall is the command center of your city, it is where you adjust taxes, start the comforting program of your city, adjust tax rates, adjust resource production and can levy resources and gold from your population. It is also where you can check your building levels and what buildings you currently have built.

The town hall also shows which cities you current own, and which valleys have you conquered. Also once in a while you will have to upgrade you town hall to increase the number of valleys you can conquer, this will also allow you to gain 3 more resource types you can produce. The Michelangelo’s script is needed to increase a building to level 10, so if you want to get all your buildings to level 10 you will need a lot of them. It’s one of the most useful items in the game in my opinion, and at 50 Evony cents it is not that expensive either. Every player get one Michelangelo’s script for free when making an account in Evony, and I’d recommend using this first one for your town hall. If you don’t want to buy scripts for real money, you can also get them winning in the wheel of fortune or attacking level 10 NPC villages.

Building a new city in Evony is actually quite easy. First you need to have a high enough title, to build your second village you need to be a Knight. You get to that title by following the promotion quests, and you need the items in your beginner package. You find your package under the package symbol top left on your screen.
