As the name implies, iron working is that iron is smelted and made into objects to help your city and army. Iron working will increase your army’s defense by 10%, every time you upgrade this technology. You can check out this technology by clicking on your city’s academy building.

The benefit of increasing your army’s defense is it will allow your army to withstand attacks longer and have an increase chance to win a war. Iron working also has prerequisites which you need to comply before upgrading to level 1. So be sure to be ready with the prerequisites when you decide to upgrade this technology. In Envoy, you will need military force to protect your city and safeguard the citizens living in your city. Military Science will allow you to increases the training speed of your military units by 10% by each level. This rate will increase as you level it up to a higher level increasing 10% every time you upgrade.

For you to level military science to level 1 you need to have a level 1 academy, level 1 forge, 600 food, 100 lumber, 100 stone, 150 iron and 2,500 gold. The research time is 15 minutes. Always remember that every time you decide to research a new level you there are more prerequisites. The academy is where you learn and level technologies you need to make advancements for your city and army. In the academy, you spend gold and resources to learn and level technologies. For you to build an academy in your city you will need a tier 2 town hall and pay a resource cost of 120 food, 2,500 lumber, 1,500 stone and 200 iron. The building time is 8 minutes.

An academy is also a requirement to complete a quest. Benefits you get from building an academy is you will now be able to learn technologies that will help you improve your city and military. An academy is a must to have in every city, as you will not get advantages of technologies learnt in other cities if you don’t have an academy there.

Metal casting is a technology which helps your city’s defenses. It is required to decrease production time of defenses for your city. Also some of your city’s defense structures require you to upgrade metal casting. Each time you upgrade this technology, you will gain a 10% decrease in production time of defenses for your city.

As with other technology upgrades, there are certain prerequisites you need before you can upgrade to another level. To level up metal casting to level 1, you need to have a level 3 academy, level 2 workshop, 1000 lumber, 1000 iron, 10000 gold. The build time is 30 minutes. Construction is a process by which you build building for your city. This technology, is one of the must have technologies you will need to build the empire you want. Construction will increase the speed of buildings being constructed in your city by 10% each time your upgrade.

Upgrading the construction technology will be beneficial for you since it will make you build building at a faster right, minimizing down time in building your empire in Envoy. As like any other technology upgrades, construction will require prerequisites and costs before you can level it up to a new level. Mining is a technology where it develops your ability to mine and acquire metal ores like iron. Iron is a resource which you need to build building in your city. Leveling or upgrading mining will allow your city to produce more ores, increasing it production by 10% each time you upgrade.

As with any other technology upgrade it will require you some prerequisites and costs to upgrade. For example, upgrading your mining to level 2 will require you to have to upgrade you academy to level 2, and the same time upgrade you iron mine to level two as well. The machinery technology in Evony increases the percentage of fortification units that are repaired instantly after a battle. It says in the description of the technology that every single upgrade enhance repairable rate of fortified units by 100%, it does not however say anything about what percentage of units is repaired if you don’t have this technology at all. 100% increase with machinery technology would tell you nothing if you don’t know which number to increase by 100%.
