Evony Age 2 Guide

Lumbering as the name implies, pertains to the production of lumber for your city. This technology allows your city to efficiently produce lumber for building purposes or trading purposes. To upgrade you lumbering technology, you can upgrade it via the academy building in your city. Just like other technologies, each time you level lumbering it will increase your lumber production by 10% for every level upgraded.

Each time you upgrade, remember to have the prerequisites and costs ready. For example, for you to upgrade you lumbering to level 4, you need to reach the prerequisite level for level 3, and must have built a level 1 academy, and a level 4 sawmill, and pay the cost of 4000 lumber, 800 iron and 9600 gold, and wait for the build time which is around 1hr and 4 minutes. Mining is a technology where it develops your ability to mine and acquire metal ores like iron. Iron is a resource which you need to build building in your city. Leveling or upgrading mining will allow your city to produce more ores, increasing it production by 10% each time you upgrade.

As with any other technology upgrade it will require you some prerequisites and costs to upgrade. For example, upgrading your mining to level 2 will require you to have to upgrade you academy to level 2, and the same time upgrade you iron mine to level two as well. The machinery technology in Evony increases the percentage of fortification units that are repaired instantly after a battle. It says in the description of the technology that every single upgrade enhance repairable rate of fortified units by 100%, it does not however say anything about what percentage of units is repaired if you don’t have this technology at all. 100% increase with machinery technology would tell you nothing if you don’t know which number to increase by 100%. Researching technologies is pretty important in Evony, so I thought I’d write an article about which technologies you should go for first. After a few months of play time you should have all technologies at level 10, but choosing the right order of researching them can give you an edge in the game on a new server starting up. You have 3 types of technologies in Evony, resource bonus technologies, combat technolgies and city technologies.
