Evony Age 2 Guide

Every now and then a box will pop up in Evony where it gives you a quest you can share with your Facebook friends. This is usually some kind of problem they can help you solve. You can choose to either share this on facebook, or just skip it. If you skip it, you won’t be able to get back to it, so I suggest you share all your quests on Facebook and hope someone do them for you.

Doing an Evony quest on Facebook will reward both the player posting the quest, and also the Facebook friend of his who does the quest. There are many type of rewards, it all depends on what type of quest it is. You have nothing to loose in doing a Facebook quest for a friend of yours, nothing is taken out of your own account for completeing your friends quest. All you get is a nice reward.

You don’t have to be the ally of someone to help them do the quest, so when it comes to Facebook quests it is an advantage to have a lot of friend on Facebook who play Evony. If you want to read more about the features of the Evony Facebook application, click here.

To be able to send your Facebook friends gifts, you have to make them an ally of you first, using the Evony Facebook Application. Your friends will then show up in the Facebook toolbar inside the Evony game client. I suggest you only make people from your own server your Evony allies, read about how to make allies here and how to remove them here.

To send a gift you go to the Facebook toolbar and click on the friend you want to send a gift to. You will then be taken to the Evony Facebook application and you can choose the gift you want to send. There are actually as many as 71 different types of gifts you can send, you are able to send more valuable gifts the higher your title is. If you try to send gifts to players on a different server you will be taken to that server to create a new account, and generally it’s a bad idea to do so. Here Quests is a totally new feature of Evony Age 2, and the first three of these quests are all about donating stuff to your Royal Family to help them in a war. You do get rewards from doing these quests, but only for quest number 2, Donation of Military Material, is the reward worth even close to what you have to donate to complete the quest. You only have to donate 200,000 of each resources to complete quest number 2, and as a reward you get 1 iron rake, 1 double saw, 1 adv quarrying tools, 1 blast furnace and 1 adv tax policy.

To complete quest number 1, Allied Forces, you need to donate a bunch of troops, 200 catapults even which take a very long time to build early on the server. In reward you get 4 Michelangelo’s scripts, 1 truce agreement, 1 advanced city teleporter, 1 war ensign, 1 ivory horn, 1 ultra corselet and 1 penicillin. Read the rest of this entry »

Military Feat is another one of the new Hero Quests for Evony Age 2, and in this quest you are going to donate medals to your Royal Family. I suggest doing this quest later in the game when you have gained at least the first 7-8 ranks and titles. It’s more important to use the medals to gain ranks and titles early on than it is completing this quest after all.

The history of the quest is that medals earned from fighting the invasion is solid evidence of your achievements. I suppose these medals will help the Royal Family against the forces that are invading the kingdom. You need to donate a lot of medals to complete this quest! 60 cross medals, 50 rose medals, 40 lion medals, 30 honor medals, 30 courage medals, 30 wisdom medals, 20 freedom medals, 20 justice medals and 10 nation medals.

A new feature with Evony Age 2 is that you can link your Evony account with your Facebook account. Linking your Evony account to Facebook has many advantages, and I think it’s almost a must if you want to be successful in Evony Age 2. The obvious thing it does is to make it easier to invite your friends on Facebook to play Evony Age 2 with you, and the application also makes sure that your friends start up on the same server and close to the same area as you do. This gives you a chance to easily help your friends get started with Evony quickly.

Another huge advantage with linking to your Facebook account is the gifts and resources you get from it. If you get lots of your friends to join Evony through Facebook you will get tons of cool rewards. People have built up massive armies early on with the help of Facebook integration. The wheel of fortune introduces gambling to the online browser game Evony. At the wheel of fortune you can gamble with Evony coins in hopes of winning big prizes. To spin the wheel one time you have to use an amulet which you can buy in the store for 5 evony game cents. 10 evony cents costs $1.00 USD, meaning you’ll get two spins for a dollar US.

You can win lots of cool prices spinning the wheel of fortune, but you can not cash anything you win back in to real world currency, so it’s not like an online casino as some people claim.
