Evony Age 2 Guide

The academy is where you learn and level technologies you need to make advancements for your city and army. In the academy, you spend gold and resources to learn and level technologies. For you to build an academy in your city you will need a tier 2 town hall and pay a resource cost of 120 food, 2,500 lumber, 1,500 stone and 200 iron. The building time is 8 minutes.

An academy is also a requirement to complete a quest. Benefits you get from building an academy is you will now be able to learn technologies that will help you improve your city and military. An academy is a must to have in every city, as you will not get advantages of technologies learnt in other cities if you don’t have an academy there.

Appointing a mayor in Evony is pretty basic stuff, but there are still  quite a few new players joining the game. Evony is one of the largest MMO strategy browser games out there after all. Anyways, to appoint a mayor you first have to build an Inn and then a Feasting Hall. You need to recruit at least one hero from your Inn, since you need a hero to have a mayor. For each level of your Feating Hall you can recruit one extra hero. All a higher Inn does is giving you more heroes to chose from, and also higher level heroes to chose from. In browser game Evony you can only attack with 100,000 troops total at any given time, that is if you have a level 10 rally point. Sometimes being able to increase this number of troops can be very useful, later in game armies get huge after all. The War ensign is the item you can use to increase the number of troops you can send in one attack by 25%. You just click the item to use it, then you will see that you can send 125,000 as the new total number of troops from your rally point. The item costs 30 cents, and you will also frequently get it in the wheel of fortune.
