NPC Cities level 6 – 9

with 33 comments

It is not possible to farm level 6 or higher NPCs with ballistae without having losses after the introduction of the defensive trebuchet. Because of this very few players choose to farm any NPCs above level 5, apart from the level 10 NPC. Farming level 6 to 9 NPC cities you will have large losses compared to the resources you will get from farming them. This is the reason I have made one article about these four NPC types.

As far as I can see from Evony Age 2, there are no changes when it comes to this. The level 6, level 7, level 8 and level 9 NPC cities will probably be left alone by almost all players. In the tables below you can see how many resources these cities have and how many troops there are in them. If you want to farm them, go ahead, but I do not think it is a good idea

NPC City level 5

with 90 comments

Level 5 NPC cities are really popular to farm for most players in Evony. On Evony Age 1 servers you will find almost the whole map filled up with level 5 NPC cities that players have made. The reason is that this is now the highest level NPC city you can successfully farm with 0 losses using ballistae.

I think the level 5 NPC city will still be a popular target to farm in Evony Age 2, but now it is not possible to make tons of them around your cities as it was before. If you find a lot of level 5 NPCs around your cities, consider yourself lucky and build a lot of ballistae early on to farm these for resources.

NPC City level 3

with 10 comments

From the level 2 NPC to the level 3 NPC you will notice quite a large increase in the number of resources you get, especially when it comes to the number of food that you get from it. NPCs level 13 are fairly popular to farm for resources early on, and I suggest you do so if you have one close to you and enough ballistae to farm it without losses.

Derelict city

without comments

An Evony derelict city is a city which has been abandoned by a player. Dereliction of a city in Evony turns the city over to the barbarians. The barbarian cities are also called NPCs, that’s the most common term and it means Non Player Character. Barbarian cities and not ruled by players but by the game itself, and they come in 10 different types. That would be level 1 to level 10 NPC barbarian cities.

A derelict city will be turned into a NPC city with the same level as the flat was before the player city was build. That is how you can actually make NPC cities at the exact level you want them to be. You just conquer a flat of the level you want and then abandon the city you build there. The flat will now be turned into the same level NPC city.

War ensign

with one comment

In browser game Evony you can only attack with 100,000 troops total at any given time, that is if you have a level 10 rally point. Sometimes being able to increase this number of troops can be very useful, later in game armies get huge after all. The War ensign is the item you can use to increase the number of troops you can send in one attack by 25%. You just click the item to use it, then you will see that you can send 125,000 as the new total number of troops from your rally point. The item costs 30 cents, and you will also frequently get it in the wheel of fortune.

Evony Medals Guide, how and where to get medals

with one comment

Getting medals in Evony enables you to gain prestige, higher rank and title, and enables you to build more villages, so it’s pretty important knowing where to get them. You can buy medals using real money if you want to, but it’s pretty expensive, so most players probably wants to get them by themselves. In this guide I show you where to get the different medals, and how to get them most efficiently. There are 9 different medals, cross medal, rose medal, lion medal, honor medal, courage medal, freedom medal, wisdom medal, justice medal and nation medal, and some are much harder to get than others. How many warriors to send at valleys and NPCs to gain prestige

with 41 comments

This is a list saying how many warriors you need to send to win against the defense of valleys and NPC villages of various levels. To get maximum prestige you have to kill as many as your own troops as possible, while still not loosing the battle. This is a pretty good way to gain prestige if you have warriors to spare.

I’ve tested these numbers against valleys with a 100 attack hero, but I’m sure you can use a lower level one if you don’t have that. When it comes to the NPC villages I’ve used a hero with 146 attack. A level 10 NPC village can not be successfully attacked with just warriors, here you will need other troops too, usually archers.
