Evony Age 2 Guide

Mining is a technology where it develops your ability to mine and acquire metal ores like iron. Iron is a resource which you need to build building in your city. Leveling or upgrading mining will allow your city to produce more ores, increasing it production by 10% each time you upgrade.

As with any other technology upgrade it will require you some prerequisites and costs to upgrade. For example, upgrading your mining to level 2 will require you to have to upgrade you academy to level 2, and the same time upgrade you iron mine to level two as well. Researching technologies is pretty important in Evony, so I thought I’d write an article about which technologies you should go for first. After a few months of play time you should have all technologies at level 10, but choosing the right order of researching them can give you an edge in the game on a new server starting up. You have 3 types of technologies in Evony, resource bonus technologies, combat technolgies and city technologies. If I’m going to conquer a city in Evony I want it to be a city worth keeping. For me that is a city with high level buildings and several high level barracks. New players with low prestige usually don’t have villages like that, so when I try to conquer cities it is usually cities from high prestige active players.
