Catapults, are they any good?
Catapults are the most powerful units in Evony, they throw huge rocks at the enemy from a very long distance. Catapults are really cool, and for an attack force nothing beats a 125k catapult attack. There are many problems with them though, number one is that they take an extremely long time to build and you need level 10 barracks to build them in. Many players have 100 total barracks that are level 9, but very few have even close to this many level 10 barracks. The best Evony items
Like most other browser strategy games Evony finances itself by having an in game item shop where players can buy useful items for the game with real money. To buy items in the shop you first have to exchange your real money to evony coins, usually at the rate of 10 coins for $1 US.
The prices in the shop varies a lot, some items are way overpriced in my opinion compared to others. The most expensive item is the ritual of pact, costing you 500 coins or $50 at the usual exchange rate! This is quite an expensive item, it is however needed to increase the alliance size to 100 members. The cheapest item and the most popular one by far is the aries amulet that let you spin the wheel of fortune. You can buy one of these for only 5 Evony cents. Michelangelo’s script
The Michelangelo’s script is needed to increase a building to level 10, so if you want to get all your buildings to level 10 you will need a lot of them. It’s one of the most useful items in the game in my opinion, and at 50 Evony cents it is not that expensive either. Every player get one Michelangelo’s script for free when making an account in Evony, and I’d recommend using this first one for your town hall. If you don’t want to buy scripts for real money, you can also get them winning in the wheel of fortune or attacking level 10 NPC villages.
What does the Christmas package and chests contain?
Lots of people have asked this questions for some reason, so here is a list of what the Christmas package as well as the Christmas chests contain. You need a key to open a special christmas chest. When you got a key and open it you will receive a random assortment of chest A, B or C. When it comes to the Santa’s milk an cookies that you all get for Christmas, you should start using them today and use one every day.
