A rally spot is a building in your city where you assemble your military forces, prepare for war or for military exercises. It is also here where you adjust your army’s status and strength. The rally spot also serves as the location where you determine which strategies to use in times of an invasion or war.

There are several options in the rally spot on how to prepare your army like march, is used to assemble your army for war. The open the gates option allows you to determine if you want your army to defend your city walls or keep them safe inside the barracks. When you level your rally spot’s tier it will increase the amount of troops you can march at one time and increasing its limit in doing so.

Evony Age 2 has made the rally spot much more efficient to use than it was before. There are also some new types of attacks you can send out from the rally spot now, like the colonize attack that you can read more about here. A rally spot is a must have for every city.

Achievements seems to be another new feature of Evony Age II. The achievement quests are different from the normal quests you are used to from before. Some of them involve killing various type of troops and conquering other players. Overall they seem to be more geared towards offense and war than the regular Evony quests.

You seem to get points in reward for doing these Achievements. This is different from the normal quests where you get resources or items in reward. You can use these points to get prestige rewards later on. If you use this stratagem your opponent can not recall his troops before they finish the attack they are on. This stratagem can be disabled if you use Cicada sheds it’s skin. I guess this stratagem can be fairly useful, but doubt it will be one of the popular ones.

Bluffing is a good strategy in war, but bluffing in Evony Age II seems pretty useless. The only time I can see a use for this stratagem is early in the game when all armies are small. What it does is to make the number of marching troops look 5 to 10 times bigger. If you see 1 million catapults marching towards you, you know that the player has to have used this stratagem, we still have the rally point limit in Evony Age II after all. The stratagem lasts for 12 hours.

This Evony Age II stratagem might seem very similar to Cicada sheds it’s skin when you look at the description. However, this stratagem makes your troops move faster towards your enemy, not on the return trip. I can see this being useful when you want to attack someone by surprise. It decreases your troops marching duration by 30%.
