Evony Age 2 Guide

The forest of Evony Age 2 is a type of valley that increases your resource production. The forest increases your resource production of wood a certain percentage depending on the level of it. All valleys increase your resource production apart from flats, which are valleys you can conquer and build new cities on.

The percentage the valley will increase your resource production can vary from just 3 % up to as much as 36%. Like I said before, this depends on the level of the valley, but it can also vary between valleys of the same level too. Number of troops and type of troops that defend each valley also differs, but generally higher level valleys have more and stronger troops.

The Double Saw is an item offered for purchase from Evony.. This item will increase production of lumber by 25% for 7 days. The Double Saw is only useful if purchased on day 1 when lumber sells for a good amount. Make sure you focus on your saw mills as they can get you 15,000 lumber per hour by day 1. This item has an Evony Price of 50 cents.

The Arch Saw is an item offered only through purchase from Evony which places metal saws in the lumber trade. This item will increase production of lumber by 25% for 24 hours. The Arch Saw is only useful on day1 when lumber sells for a good amount. Make sure you focus on your saw mills as they can get you 15,000 lumber per hour by day 1. This item has an Evony Price of 50 cents.

Lumbering as the name implies, pertains to the production of lumber for your city. This technology allows your city to efficiently produce lumber for building purposes or trading purposes. To upgrade you lumbering technology, you can upgrade it via the academy building in your city. Just like other technologies, each time you level lumbering it will increase your lumber production by 10% for every level upgraded.

Each time you upgrade, remember to have the prerequisites and costs ready. For example, for you to upgrade you lumbering to level 4, you need to reach the prerequisite level for level 3, and must have built a level 1 academy, and a level 4 sawmill, and pay the cost of 4000 lumber, 800 iron and 9600 gold, and wait for the build time which is around 1hr and 4 minutes. The sawmill is the resource producing building that produces the lumber you need. Lumber tends to be the most expensive resource, so many players build lots of lumber cities that are only focusing on producing lumber. They will tell sell extra lumber that they have and buy the other resources that they need.

You will use lumber both for building construction as well as troop building, that’s why it is so important. Almost all troops you can build in Evony Age 2 need lumber to be trained. For many troops lumber is also the most important resource when it comes to training them. I suggest you build lots of sawmills in each of your cities for this reason.
