Evony Age 2 Guide

Hero Hunting is an item available by quest or purchase through Evony which allows you to refresh the Inn’s Hero Recruitment List. The list will reset at server down unless you chose to use a Hero Hunting item. Many people think it is a bad idea to progress to anything beyond a level one inn because this causes the level of the hero to increase as well. With a higher level inn, you are much less likely to receive a hero who is specialized in one attribute and is much harder to level up.

It should also be noted that cycling through heroes can also become very expensive. A trick to cycle through heroes is to keep your inn at level one while recruiting and dismissing new heroes until you find one that suits you. Each time a hero is dismissed, a new hero will be added to the queue. You can get a Hero Hunting item once you reach level four by selecting it from the package icon at the top left corner of your screen. Hero Hunting has an Evony Price of 5 cents.

The Inn is the building where you recruit your heroes from. If you increase the level of your Inn you get a wider selection of heroes to choose from, however, it is usually better to keep the level of your Inn low and recruit and fire heroes rapidly until you find a hero that you want. The heroes you get from high level Inns are usually worse than the low level heroes you get from level 1 Inns. Even if you don’t hire any heroes from your Inn, it will still refresh the list of available heroes every day.

A new feature of the Inn that comes with Evony Age 2 is hearsay. You need to upgrade your Inn to level 5 to get this option, so in Evony Age 2 keeping all Inns at level 1 is not a good option anymore. Listening to hearsay in your Inn tells you were powerful Folk Heroes are located, and you can then go an capture these heroes and make them your own. Appointing a mayor in Evony is pretty basic stuff, but there are still  quite a few new players joining the game. Evony is one of the largest MMO strategy browser games out there after all. Anyways, to appoint a mayor you first have to build an Inn and then a Feasting Hall. You need to recruit at least one hero from your Inn, since you need a hero to have a mayor. For each level of your Feating Hall you can recruit one extra hero. All a higher Inn does is giving you more heroes to chose from, and also higher level heroes to chose from. Building a new city in Evony is actually quite easy. First you need to have a high enough title, to build your second village you need to be a Knight.
