Evony Age 2 Guide

Today a lot of new articles about Evony Age 2 has been added to the Evony Age 2 wiki. Now there is information about all the building types of Evony Age 2, most of the troops types, all the stratagems, the technologies and most of the Evony Age 2 items. New articles are added to the wiki every day, and you can find the Evony Age 2 Wiki here.

The beacon tower allows you to be warned in the cases of an incoming invasion towards your city. It sends you information about the invasion like army size, time the invading army might arrive, and heroes which are marching with the invading army.

When you level this building, it allows you to gain more information about the invasion. An example is, at level 2 the beacon tower will send you information if the invading army is marching to plunder or to scout. So as you upgrade the more info it will give you about the invasion. It is also said that upgrading informatics will also play a role on the information given by the beacon tower. The building is a must for every city that you have, as getting information about incoming attacks is really important.

Informatics is the technology that effects how you gain information from your scouts. A high informatics level will allow your scouts to gain more information on a place you send them to. A scout attack checks the size of an opposing city’s military.

With each upgrade to informatics, your scouts will gain more data when scouting, and they can scout higher level locations. Please also not that like other technologies, informatics needs certain prerequisites to upgrade. As the level of informatics increases, so will be the spying capabilities of your scouts. Using this stratagem you will get detailed information about one of your enemy’s cities. This can be useful later in the game when your opponents often will have millions of scouts in some of their cities. Using this stratagem you don’t have to sacrifice lots of your own scouts to get the information you need.

The beacon tower is quite an important building in browser game Evony. The beacon tower will warn you on incoming attacks on your city, and the higher the level of your beacon tower is, the more information you will get about the incoming attack. I advice you to have a beacon tower in each of your cities and get them to level 9 as quickly as possible. If you’re hardly ever attacked this isn’t very important, but most players are attacked now and then, and then it is a huge advantage to get as much information you can about the incoming army. Evony Age 2 Battlefield has been talked about for more than half a year now, and players are getting impatient and really wondering when Evony Age 2 will be released. Yesterday the vise development director of Evony, Thalin Athasian, posted to a thread in the Evony forum asking about Evony Age 2 Battlefield. He said that “The Community Representatives have sent out information as they know and have on multiple times responded to these questions. And I know I have as well. Evony: Age II is in development, and I would only say that definately keep your eyes posted as it’s going to be great.” Nothing new here really, so what do we really know about Evony Age 2 Battlefield at this point?
