Hero Package is an item which contains 10 hero hunting and 10 holy water items. Much like Hero Hunting, it is not a good idea to past level one inn because it will output higher level under-specialized heroes who are much more difficult to level up. One big drawback with the Hero Package is that with every use of holy water, 3 attribute points are deducted from your hero at random. The attribute chosen is typically the highest (most important). The Hero Package has an Evony Price of 188 cents.

Hero Hunting is an item available by quest or purchase through Evony which allows you to refresh the Inn’s Hero Recruitment List. The list will reset at server down unless you chose to use a Hero Hunting item. Many people think it is a bad idea to progress to anything beyond a level one inn because this causes the level of the hero to increase as well. With a higher level inn, you are much less likely to receive a hero who is specialized in one attribute and is much harder to level up.

It should also be noted that cycling through heroes can also become very expensive. A trick to cycle through heroes is to keep your inn at level one while recruiting and dismissing new heroes until you find one that suits you. Each time a hero is dismissed, a new hero will be added to the queue. You can get a Hero Hunting item once you reach level four by selecting it from the package icon at the top left corner of your screen. Hero Hunting has an Evony Price of 5 cents.

Like most other browser strategy games Evony finances itself by having an in game item shop where players can buy useful items for the game with real money. To buy items in the shop you first have to exchange your real money to evony coins, usually at the rate of 10 coins for $1 US.

The prices in the shop varies a lot, some items are way overpriced in my opinion compared to others. The most expensive item is the ritual of pact, costing you 500 coins or $50 at the usual exchange rate! This is quite an expensive item, it is however needed to increase the alliance size to 100 members. The cheapest item and the most popular one by far is the aries amulet that let you spin the wheel of fortune. You can buy one of these for only 5 Evony cents. Lots of people have asked this questions for some reason, so here is a list of what the Christmas package as well as the Christmas chests contain. You need a key to open a special christmas chest. When you got a key and open it you will receive a random assortment of chest A, B or C. When it comes to the Santa’s milk an cookies that you all get for Christmas, you should start using them today and use one every day. It’s getting close to Christmas, and cause of that Evony wants to give out Christmas presents. For every $30 you spend between December 15. and 27. you will get a Christmas package and Santa’s milk and cookies from Evony. You will also be able to send out 20 special Christmas chests to 20 of your favorite Evony friends. In addition to this you will get one Christmas chest key that you can use to open Christmas chests, that is if any of your friends have sent you chests. You can not buy Christmas chests, you have to have some friends send them to you as a gift.

Quite a few players are unhappy that they actually have to spend $30 to open each of their Christmas gifts, since each key can only open one Christmas chest. If you have a lot of friends opening all your chests can get quite expensive. I think it’s too bad that Evony are making the gift opening process this expensive, doesn’t really feel like Christmas gifts anymore then. Anyways, both the packages and the Christmas chests contains lots of cool stuff like medals, hero hunting, amulets and teleporters. Santa’s milk and cookies are items you can use between 23. and 27.
