Evony Age 2 Guide

I have just read through the updated version of Advanced Strategies for Dominating in Evony, and it is really good. This Evony guide will be useful for both Evony Age 1 and Evony Age 2 players. The first 50 pages are filled with general strategies and tips that can be used on both type of servers. Wisdom medals can be found in the medium medal box which you can buy in the Evony store for 120 cents or get in the wheel of fortune if you’re lucky. They serve the same purpose in Evony Age 2 as in Age 1. If you award wisdom medals to your heroes each will increase their loyalty by 30. Usually it is better to save your medals for gaining ranks and titles however. You need a total of 15 wisdom medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 15  for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.

Looking for wisdom medals can be hard, but from my experience so far on Evony Age 2 you can find them attacking valleys level 5-8 as well as NPC cities level 4-7, this is the same as with the honor medals. Every now and then a box will pop up in Evony where it gives you a quest you can share with your Facebook friends. This is usually some kind of problem they can help you solve. You can choose to either share this on facebook, or just skip it. If you skip it, you won’t be able to get back to it, so I suggest you share all your quests on Facebook and hope someone do them for you.

Doing an Evony quest on Facebook will reward both the player posting the quest, and also the Facebook friend of his who does the quest. There are many type of rewards, it all depends on what type of quest it is. You have nothing to loose in doing a Facebook quest for a friend of yours, nothing is taken out of your own account for completeing your friends quest. All you get is a nice reward.

You don’t have to be the ally of someone to help them do the quest, so when it comes to Facebook quests it is an advantage to have a lot of friend on Facebook who play Evony. If you want to read more about the features of the Evony Facebook application, click here.

The Plate Helm of Lancelot is an Evony item, much like the Holy Helm of Mars, which gives you a new hero with a base of 70 points in any given attribute. As I’ve stated previously, you are best off selecting your hero from a level one inn and placing him into pillaging battles. At a much lower level you will have already reached the same attribute level. At that high of an attribute level you will receive much faster gains later on. This item can only be acquired by spinning the Wheel of Fortune.

Commission quests is a new feature of Evony Age 2. Commission quests are quests that you can offer to other players in reward for Evony game cents. At the moment there are only one type of commission quest you can offer other players, but I expect there to be more types of commission quests available in the future.

The quest type available now is the anti-colonization commission quest. What this does is that it lets another player help you in the uprising battle against your Suzerain and take your colonized city back. When you issue the quest you can choose how much the reward is, the better the reward is the more player you will probably get wanting to do your quest. Yet another Evony Age II stratagem that lets you change the moving speed of your opponents troops. Seems to be quite a lot of these type of stratagems out there. This stratagem lets you increase your opponent’s march duration by 30%. To be the stratagem is too expensive to ever be worth using.

It is harder to increase population in Evony with public grievance, but it is definitely possible. Both public grievance, tax rate and loyalty is related to how fast your population will grow. As you have probably noticed, the the lower your tax rate is the faster your population increase is. You can see this from the table posted below that your population increase per tick with 0% tax rate is 5%. This is the maximum possible population increase per tick that you can have. A tick happens every 6 minutes in Evony, then Evony will update loyalty, population and gold for each city you have. This happens at the same time for all cities on the server.
