Derelict city

without comments

An Evony derelict city is a city which has been abandoned by a player. Dereliction of a city in Evony turns the city over to the barbarians. The barbarian cities are also called NPCs, that’s the most common term and it means Non Player Character. Barbarian cities and not ruled by players but by the game itself, and they come in 10 different types. That would be level 1 to level 10 NPC barbarian cities.

A derelict city will be turned into a NPC city with the same level as the flat was before the player city was build. That is how you can actually make NPC cities at the exact level you want them to be. You just conquer a flat of the level you want and then abandon the city you build there. The flat will now be turned into the same level NPC city.

Evony valleys – a short guide

without comments

All the terrain spaces around your cities are called valleys in Evony, actually the only things on the map that are not valleys are player cities and NPC barbarian cities. They come in seven different types, grassland, desert, hill, swamp, lake, forest and flat. The flat is the only type of valley that you can build a new city on, to do this you need to first attack it with enough troops to win the battle and conquer it. Then you click the “build city” button to found your new city. Read the rest of this entry »

Rainbow attack level 10 NPC city with almost no losses

with 9 comments

A Evony rainbow attack is layering your main attack troop, usually archers or cavalry, with other types of troops to reduce losses. In these attacks on a level 10 NPC barbarian city the player looses almost no troops at all cause of his layering. The troops used are archers, warriors, workers and transports, 100k troops total. It is very important that you have maximum technologies when trying this, and you also need a hero with 130 or more attack power. The higher attack power of your hero the lower losses you will have. You can also useĀ penicillinĀ and war horn to reduce losses even more. The numbers of different troops used in both of these attacks are listed below.

EvoMap – Evony map of all servers

with 23 comments

EvoMap is a new tool for Evony that easily lets you find other players cities. This has been a problem in Evony, finding all the cities of a player or an alliance that you want to attack. With the Evony map you can search both for player names and alliances. You can also get a list of all the cities in the various states of the server and also all cities in a certain radius around a coordinate of your choice. Right now more than 12 million cities are listed on 125 different servers. Read the rest of this entry »

How many warriors to send at valleys and NPCs to gain prestige

with 5 comments

This is a list saying how many warriors you need to send to win against the defense of valleys and NPC villages of various levels. To get maximum prestige you have to kill as many as your own troops as possible, while still not loosing the battle. This is a pretty good way to gain prestige if you have warriors to spare.

I’ve tested these numbers against valleys with a 100 attack hero, but I’m sure you can use a lower level one if you don’t have that. When it comes to the NPC villages I’ve used a hero with 146 attack. A level 10 NPC village can not be successfully attacked with just warriors, here you will need other troops too, usually archers. How to get medals on old Evony servers, drop guide

with 5 comments

The medal drop rates of the older servers, server one to 55 that is, is about 15% at best. 15% medal drop rate is very good though, much better than all the other servers. I guess they keep the medal drop rate this high here to make it easier for newer players to catch up with the old ones. Anyways, to get medals here you just attack valleys and NPCs according to the list given below. In about one or two attacks out of ten you should get a medal. Read the rest of this entry »
