Evony Age 2 Guide

The farm of Evony Age 2 is the building you need to be able to produce food. Food is a very important resource in Evony as you will need to feed your army every hour. In addition to being important in the feeding of troops, food is also important when it comes to some construction types and troop training.

In the beginning on a new server you don’t really need to build many farms, as food will be the least valuable resource and you won’t have that many troops to feed at this point. Later on the server you might want to capture level 10 NPCs, as these are filled up with lots of level 10 farms. Generally however, food will remain pretty cheap on all servers as it is easy to get food from plundering NPCs. Agriculture is a technology which you increase you food production by a certain percent every time you upgrade the technology. It has 10 levels, each increasing your production of food by 10% as you upgrade. Certain levels have certain prerequisites before you can upgrade, for example to upgrade you agriculture to level 1 you will need to build a level 1 academy, level 1 farm and posses 500 food, and 1000 worth of gold.

Upgrading this technology will also have a build time which is 6 minutes and 37 seconds. Each time you upgrade your agriculture technology, prerequisites will also increase accordingly. A Evony rainbow attack is layering your main attack troop, usually archers or cavalry, with other types of troops to reduce losses. In these attacks on a level 10 NPC barbarian city the player looses almost no troops at all cause of his layering. The troops used are archers, warriors, workers and transports, 100k troops total. It is very important that you have maximum technologies when trying this, and you also need a hero with 130 or more attack power. The higher attack power of your hero the lower losses you will have. You can also use penicillin and war horn to reduce losses even more. The numbers of different troops used in both of these attacks are listed below.
