Engineering
Engineering is a technology where walls and fortified units are improved. In order for you to upgrade engineering you will be able to do so by clicking on your academy. Engineering upgrades the endurance of your city walls from attacks and fortified units by as much as 10%.
Every tier of engineering will increase the amount given by as much as 10% each time you upgrade. Engineering is a useful technology since it gives your city walls added strength to withstand invasions and attacks from opposing armies. When you decide to upgrade this technology to higher level tiers you will have prerequisites which you need to have before you are allowed to upgrade. One such prerequisite is for you have a level 8 academy built, there are also lots of resources that you need and a very long building time.
The most important Evony technologies
Researching technologies is pretty important in Evony, so I thought I’d write an article about which technologies you should go for first. After a few months of play time you should have all technologies at level 10, but choosing the right order of researching them can give you an edge in the game on a new server starting up. You have 3 types of technologies in Evony, resource bonus technologies, combat technolgies and city technologies. Guide to conquering high level villages from active players
If I’m going to conquer a city in Evony I want it to be a city worth keeping. For me that is a city with high level buildings and several high level barracks. New players with low prestige usually don’t have villages like that, so when I try to conquer cities it is usually cities from high prestige active players.
