Moderation and closing of threads in Evony forums
Many players have complained that they don’t like the way Evony’s official forum is moderated and threads are closed. They are that way too often interesting threads are locked by the moderators or game admins without important questions being answered, or various concerns pointed out in the thread being addressed. A few days ago someone made a post called “A Gold Star for Evony” in the general discussion forum. He complained that admins leave totally unhelpful replies in threads and then closing them down way too often.
In this case it was a thread about botting they closed down, which is a topic I understand the game admins don’t want to be discussed. The interesting part however is that they actually replied to the closing of threads complaints from players and made the “A Gold Star for Evony” thread a sticky. I think it’s great that the Evony admins take time to answer complaints like these. On page 5 in this thread vise development director Thalin Athasian says this. Read the rest of this entry »
