Evony loyalty explained
Loyalty is important in Evony, and your goal should be to have your cities at 100 loyalty at all times. This is the maximum loyalty that you can have. Evony updates your loyalty every sixth minute, this is called an Evony tick, and if your citizens are unhappy by something your loyalty will decrease by 1 every tick. Your loyalty can also decrease if you happen to be attack, this is how you conquer cities in Evony after all. With every successful attack against your city your loyalty will go down. In the start of new servers you’ll manipulate loyalty with comfort reliefs every 15 minutes to keep your population at maximum with 100% tax rate. This is only the first weeks of the server however, when resources are cheap. After that you’ll just keep your tax rate at 0% all the time and thus have loyalty at 100 all the time. Declining population
Many players find themselves having a problem with declining population in Evony. This can be a very bad thing for them as you need a high population for several things in Evony. Early on a new server having a high population is important to gain a good tax income, with a declining population you will loose tax income and not be able to grow as quickly as you would otherwise. Increasing population and earning gold
Having a high population early on in the game is pretty important as that will give you a high tax income. Early on most resources are really cheap in terms of gold, so having a high gold income is much more important than having a high resources production. Early on a new server you can often buy wood for as low as 0.1 gold a piece and food sometimes as low as 0.02 for each. Read the rest of this entry »
