Evony Age 2 Guide

In Evony Age 1 the workshop was a pretty useless building. The only thing you needed the workshop for was as a prerequisite for building walls and for researching metal casting. Metal casting is a prerequisite for defense mechanics.

Anyways, with Evony Age 2 the workshop has become a much more important building. Now you need the workshop to be able to make gear for your heroes. Having good gear for your heroes is really important, as most heroes are very weak without being equipped with decent gear. You need certain resources to be able to produce hero gear, and this changes depending on what level of gear you want to make. You can read more about gear making here.

The workshop is also were you upgrade your gear’s star levels, you can read more about star levels and how to upgrade these levels in my guide to star levels.

Construction is a process by which you build building for your city. This technology, is one of the must have technologies you will need to build the empire you want. Construction will increase the speed of buildings being constructed in your city by 10% each time your upgrade.

Upgrading the construction technology will be beneficial for you since it will make you build building at a faster right, minimizing down time in building your empire in Envoy. As like any other technology upgrades, construction will require prerequisites and costs before you can level it up to a new level. The town hall is the command center of your city, it is where you adjust taxes, start the comforting program of your city, adjust tax rates, adjust resource production and can levy resources and gold from your population. It is also where you can check your building levels and what buildings you currently have built.

The town hall also shows which cities you current own, and which valleys have you conquered. Also once in a while you will have to upgrade you town hall to increase the number of valleys you can conquer, this will also allow you to gain 3 more resource types you can produce. The beacon tower is quite an important building in browser game Evony. The beacon tower will warn you on incoming attacks on your city, and the higher the level of your beacon tower is, the more information you will get about the incoming attack. I advice you to have a beacon tower in each of your cities and get them to level 9 as quickly as possible. If you’re hardly ever attacked this isn’t very important, but most players are attacked now and then, and then it is a huge advantage to get as much information you can about the incoming army. EvoMap is a new tool for Evony that easily lets you find other players cities. This has been a problem in Evony, finding all the cities of a player or an alliance that you want to attack. With the Evony map you can search both for player names and alliances. You can also get a list of all the cities in the various states of the server and also all cities in a certain radius around a coordinate of your choice. The beginner’s guidelines is the standard speed up building item for the browser game Evony. Most browser strategy games have a speed up feature like this, in say travian it’s called speed build. The reason why the beginner guideline’s is a good item is that it’s very cheap, and using a few of these will really speed up the process of building a new city. The beginner guideline costs only 5 Evony cents, or about 50 cents US real money. When using the item you speed up the construction of a building with as much as 15 minutes.

Building a new city in Evony is actually quite easy. First you need to have a high enough title, to build your second village you need to be a Knight. You get to that title by following the promotion quests, and you need the items in your beginner package. You find your package under the package symbol top left on your screen.
