iEvony invitation codes

with 151 comments

iEvony is an Evony application that lets you get Evony cents for free. The way to get the iEvony cents is to earn credits in the iEvony application by inviting your friends to join the Evony game. For some reason iEvony is an open Beta or an invite only application, and it has been that for a while, so to be able to join you have to use an invitation code. I will be posting iEvony invitation codes in the comments here in this article, and I suggest users do that as well if they have them. Read the rest of this entry »

Evony ranks

with 7 comments

Rank in Evony is pretty useless really, the only thing you need it for is to level up your title. I don’t know why the included the ranks in Evony at all, as it serves no other purpose than a prerequisite for something else, but maybe it will be used for something in Evony Age 2, who knows. Anyways, you start out in Evony as a civilian, and there are 6 ranks total. The other ranks you can get are lieutenant,  captain, major, colonel and general. Read the rest of this entry »

Evony titles

with 15 comments

There are 9 different titles you can have in Evony, knight, baronet, baron, viscount, earl, marquis, duke, furstin and prinzessin. This is not the same as rank, so don’t mix them up. When you start the game your title is knight, and as a knight you can own 2 cities total. To be allowed to build another city you need to level up to the title baronet. To build your forth city you need the title baron, the fifth city viscount, etc. When you get the title prinzessin you can build your tenth city, this is the maximum in the game. How to get medals on old Evony servers, drop guide

with 5 comments

The medal drop rates of the older servers, server one to 55 that is, is about 15% at best. 15% medal drop rate is very good though, much better than all the other servers. I guess they keep the medal drop rate this high here to make it easier for newer players to catch up with the old ones. Anyways, to get medals here you just attack valleys and NPCs according to the list given below. In about one or two attacks out of ten you should get a medal. Read the rest of this entry »

Instant conquering of level 10 NPC using camp time

with 12 comments

This Evony guide will show you how to conquer a level 10 NPC in less than one minute by timing attacks from several different of your villages using camp time. This NPC can be far away from you, as far as 100 miles, so it’s just like an advanced teleport without the delay. This can be really useful if you want a forward base far away from you to launch attacks from.

The number of troops you need to do this is about 130,000 archers, 400,000 warriors and transports. You also need a high attack hero as well as maxed technology. Most players have way more troops than this on older servers, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Read the rest of this entry »

Evony defense guide

with 26 comments

Defending your cities is obviously very important in Evony. For defense you can use both a lot of scouts so they are not able to find out how many troops you have or just a lot of defense troops so they can’t manage to beat you anyways. In addition to your troops you need a lot of fortifications, I recommend archers towers, they are effective against almost anything the enemy can send at you.

I also recommend having gate closed usually, unless you’re able to have a huge defense army in town, or you are only and manage to figure out how large of an army your enemy sends against you. It’s true that more powerfull players will destroy your fortifications frequently, but they are pretty cheap to rebuild after all. If you keep rebuilding fortifications and don’t have much resources worth to plunder other players will proabably just leave you alone. Read the rest of this entry »

Patch notes 2. June 2009

with 4 comments

UMGE is listening to it’s player base and have started posting patch notes when the patches are being applied it seems. This is really good news, since we know will actually know what’s happening. The defensive trebuchet seems pretty cool, looking forward to try that out. Read the rest of this entry »
