Visit Empire of Facebook ally
A very cool thing you can do with the help of the Evony Facebook application is to visit your ally’s empire. When you visit their empire you will get an overview of all of their cities and can check a lot of stuff, it is almost the same as logging into their account. This feature can be very useful if you are away on vacation or something, since you can have your allies check in on your account and help you. Many players have Facebook allies in another timezone who look over their account when they are sleeping. You visit their empire by click their icon and then on “Visit Empire”. A new browser window will open taking you to their empire. Read the rest of this entry »
How to get Evony allies from Facebook
Making some of your Facebook friends your Evony allies is the first thing you should do once you connect your Evony account to your Facebook account. When you make a Facebook friend your Evony ally, you can send and receive gifts from this player, and you can also help each other in other ways, like increasing your ally’s production level and look at his empire.
Making someone your ally is quite easy, just click an empty icon on your Facebook toolbar inside the Evony game. The toolbar is easy to find, it’s on the right of your screen, just beside your cities list. If all the icons are filled with allies already, use the arrows to move down on the list till you find an empty icon spot where it says “Add Ally”. Clicking here will open a new browser window that takes you to the Evony Facebook application. Here you can choose which of your friends you want to invite to become your ally in Evony. For tips on how to get many allies quickly I suggest reading my article about joining Facebook groups to get Evony allies. Read the rest of this entry »
Ritual of Pact
The Ritual of Pact is an item in Evony which will instantly increase the size of your alliance to the maximum amount, which will allow you to have up to 100 members join without the need of a level 10 embassy. This is how many alliances are grown to such large numbers so quickly. Ritual of Pact is most useful if you are the host of the alliance.
Be weary of applying Ritual of Pact on an alliance you aren’t the host of, as people have been known to boot people who help the alliance once they have used their Ritual of Pact. Also, realize that numbers are NOT everything when it comes to your alliance. This item would best be used as a tool to aid you in becoming an established host of a powerful alliance. This item is purchasable through the Evony Store for an Evony Price of 500 cents.
Embassy
As the name implies, an embassy is where you maintain relations with other cities which you are allied with. It is here in the embassy where you can accept alliances and invite other players to join your alliance. At a level 1 embassy you can start having allies, you are only allowed to accept ally invites however. When you reach level 2 your are allowed to send invites to neighboring cities to become one of your allies.
An Embassy also serves as a place where injured allied troops can stay while they get into a better state of health, as you level your embassy it will also allow it to increase its capacity to host allied troops. Note that every time allied troops stay here food will be used up. Embassies are useful to have in all of your cities so that your alliance can send their troops there and help defend you.
Besiege Enemy’s fort to rescue Ally’s city
Another quite useful stratagem for Evony Age II. What this one does is to stop an attack launched from your enemy’s city. When you use this stratagem on the city you besiege it and automatically recalls any attacks sent out from it. Stopping attacks like this is obviously very useful, both to protect allies and yourself. It is a bit expensive however, so I’m not sure how often it will be used.
Evony alliance positions
There are five different positions in an Evony alliance. All members in an alliance start out as a standard member, they can’t do anything special in the alliance apart from quitting the alliance. If they quit they will loose 10% of their prestige, this goes for any type of alliance member.
The next rank in the alliance is the officer. They have the permission to accept new members to an alliance, but they can not promote any members to higher positions. They can also send out alliance invitations. There can be a total of 10 officers in an alliance, the total number of any kind of member in an Evony alliance is 100. Read the rest of this entry »
