Happiness packages and new promotions
Evony really likes to have various packages and promotions out that players can buy to get various advantages in the game. In like every single holiday there are special holiday packages out there, like Easter egs, Christmas chests, New Year’s packages, etc. Players have gotten used to having the option to buy these promotion packages all the time. One of the most popular package items is the lower upkeep bonus, having your troops eat 50% less is a great advantage for end game players with huge armies.
After the Easter promotion ended this year, Evony decided to launch the Happiness Packages that will remain in the game all the time, even if it is not a holiday season. Evony product manager, davemata, said in a post that Evony has some awesome new promotions in the works that are dramatically different from what we have seen over the past year. It will for sure be very exciting to see what kind of promotions these are, maybe we will see some of these being launched in the summer? I will try to keep you up to date here on Evony Guide. Christmas and Evony in 2011
I have been pretty busy lately, and I’m sorry I’ve not been able to update this website much at all the last couple of months. I still get a lot of visitors and people leaving comments here, but unfortunately I’ve not been able to reply to most of them. The reason is that I have been busy with other projects, but now I’ll take some time to get this Evony website up to date again.
We’re getting closer to the end of the year now, and it will be exciting to see what type of promotions and special offers Evony will give out to the players this year. Evony really seems to love the hollidays and usually offer some special type of promotions on these occations. I expect there to be both a Christmas package as well as a New Years package as well, most likely for both the Evony Age 1 and the Evony Age 2 servers. Read the rest of this entry »
List of Historic Heroes and Stats
I’m sorry for not being able to update this Evony Age 2 wiki website for a long time. I’ve been very busy with other projects, but I think I will be able to find more time to put into the site from now on. This post is just a list of the names of all the historic heroes that I have seen so far in Evony Age 2. The list is probably not complete, so if you know of any Evony Age 2 heroes not listed heres please do post a comment so that I can add them to the list.
The stats of the different heroes are fixed and not random, and the top attack heroes I’ve seen so far are Henry IV with a base attack of 99, Nadar Shah with base attack of 98 and Saladin, Hannibal and Genghis Kahn all with base attack of 97. I will try to get all stats for all of the heroes posted here as soon as I am able to gather the information, any help is appreciated. The list is posted below and will be updated as often as possible.
Protected Cities and Conquest status
A while ago Foxybunny made a thread in the official Evony forums requesting some feedback on some changes they are planning to make to Evony Age 2. As you probably all know, it is currently not possible to launch normal attacks against other players in Evony Age 2, and many players are not happy with this. It is not possible to conquer other players cities either, like it was in Evony Age 1.
One way Evony is thinking about changing this is to let players choose if they want to be in conquest mode or not, they can change their conquest status on and off as they wish, probably with some delay in between. If your conquest status in turned on you can make normal attacks against other players who also have conquest on, and you can also conquer their cities. Read the rest of this entry »
Evony Age 2 wiki almost complete
The Evony Age 2 wiki is almost complete now, and there is tons of information you can find there now. You can find information about all the new Evony Age 2 features, the buildings, the troops, all the new Evony Age 2 items, the stratagems, medals guide for Evony Age 2 and lots more stuff. You should definitely take a look at it if you haven’t done so already.
The only thing left to do is to add information about all the quests of Evony Age 2, and I’m working on that at the moment. If you have any information you think should be added to the Evony Age 2 wiki, anything you think should be change, or any questions to the information there, feel free to leave a comment to any of the articles!
Lake
The lake of Evony Age 2 is a valley type that will increase your food production. Lakes are pretty popular for players to conquer, as many players need food to feed their armies. All valleys increase your resource production apart from flats, which are valleys you can conquer and build new cities on.
The percentage the valley will increase your resource production can vary from just 3 % up to as much as 36%. Like I said before, this depends on the level of the valley, but it can also vary between valleys of the same level too. Number of troops and type of troops that defend each valley also differs, but generally higher level valleys have more and stronger troops.
