Penicillin is an Evony item that can be acquired by either purchasing it at the Evony store or by spinning the Wheel of Fortune. Penicillin is a great item as it lowers your amount of casualties by 30% for 7 days and will also increase the amount of casualties that get brought to the medic camp after a battle. Without Penicillin, 10% of your casualties would be brought back to camp but with this item applied, 13% would be sent to the medic camp. This item can be purchased for an Evony Price of 20 cents.

Napoleon’s Diary is an item in Evony which will speed up the training time for troops by 30% but is only able to be applied to one barrack at a time. Use really depends on your level, but its a general consensus that this item has very few situations where it would actually be useful. One instance is if you mistakenly queue up a 1200 archers from a single barrack. Instead of canceling the queue and losing a ton of resources, use this item. Napoleon’s Diary would knock 14.4 hours from the 48 hour queue and your barrack will be ready to rock much sooner. Napoleon’s Diary can be purchased for an Evony Price of 30 cents.

Primary advanced blacksmithing and Senior advanced blacksmithing are the two items of Evony Age II that you can use to increase your chance of success when melting gems. Advanced gems smelting is the process of melting two lower level gems together to one higher level gems. Using the primary advanced blacksmithing item you can increase your chance of success by 30%, while using the  senior advanced blacksmithing item you can increase your chance of success by 60%.

It’s getting close to Christmas, and cause of that Evony wants to give out Christmas presents. For every $30 you spend between December 15. and 27. you will get a Christmas package and Santa’s milk and cookies from Evony. You will also be able to send out 20 special Christmas chests to 20 of your favorite Evony friends. In addition to this you will get one Christmas chest key that you can use to open Christmas chests, that is if any of your friends have sent you chests. You can not buy Christmas chests, you have to have some friends send them to you as a gift.

Quite a few players are unhappy that they actually have to spend $30 to open each of their Christmas gifts, since each key can only open one Christmas chest. If you have a lot of friends opening all your chests can get quite expensive. I think it’s too bad that Evony are making the gift opening process this expensive, doesn’t really feel like Christmas gifts anymore then. Anyways, both the packages and the Christmas chests contains lots of cool stuff like medals, hero hunting, amulets and teleporters. Santa’s milk and cookies are items you can use between 23. and 27.
