Rose Medals
The rose medal is one of the medals you can find in the junior medals box. The rose medal increase a hero’s loyalty by 10 when rewarded, but it’s not really a good idea to use the medals for this purpose. It is better to save these medals for gaining titles and ranks, especially in the early ranks the rose medals are important. 3 of the different title promotions need rose medals, and you need a total of 20 rose medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 15 for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.
You do get some rose medals from the start of the game in the packages you get there, to help you with the first titles and ranks. In Evony Age 2 it seems you can find more rose medals when attacking low level valleys level 1-6 and NPCs level 1-2. If you have gotten cross medals from attacking so far this age, I’d be happy if you could post where it was from as a comment here, so I can make the Finding Medals in Evony Age 2 guide as up to date and accurate as possible. ok to get medals or drops attack lvl 1 -3 valleys with 400 scouts and any hero doesnt matter with attack lvl etc again to gain more of a chance of getting medals is by sending your highiest intelligence hero today i got about 9 drops after a few attacks including 2 drops in 1 attack now dont get abit impatience i just tested this today and it worked fine again

the drop rate is the same for all valleys and npcs. i had it confirmed by evony staff. so it dont matter what u hit or how often u will get what u get as often as the AI drops.

After developing this method, I have won 14 Rose in three days.
You will need:
At least lvl 3 rally spot,
3 or more heros with at least 60 attack or above.
Warriors, and lot’s of them to account for the gradual loss.
ANY lvl 4 valley. (NOT NPC). (Lake seems to work best).
Simply send 1k warriors per attack, sending each attack within 10-15 seconds of each other.
When you capture the valley, abandon it quickly before the next attack hits.
This method drops other items along with Rose, can be used for Lion as well, and you will also get some mikey scripts as well as gems.
This has only been tested on server NA4 (AGE II). Not sure if it works on other servers, if anyone can test, please post results here.
NOTE: This method still requires perserverence.
NOTE: Does not work by maxing valley spots so you don’t capture. You MUST be able to capture/abandon the valley after each attack.

Ok guys ive been attacking a level 3 hill, ive been doing it all yesterday with 300 archers and ive had around 30 cross medels 3 rose and 9 lions not what i was after but i also got a michloanglo script and a hero hunting so this may be the way to go

i been using cav to get my medals on vallies lvl 1-4.Only because they faster and it allows me more time to medal farm.

the same can be done with archers too.I found lion,cross,and rose medals on those lvl vallies.it did not matter what valley type.Im sure some vallies put out more of a certain type of medal but u can get different medals on the same valley.

I just wanted to tell the people who are having trouble getting medals, that in evony age I the medal drop rates, for every medal, was only 1 percent. That means that every 100 attacks you sent you would only get 1 medal back, typically.
Now it appears they may have increased this number but they aren’t gonna give these medals away because they want people to buy the medal boxes so they can make money.
So all in all just keep trying you might not get the medal you want after 1000+ attacks but you will get it some time. Because you could also get 10 medals in a matter of 50 attacks if your lucky it’s random.
Also from age I the intelligence of your hero didn’t matter whatsoever or what troops(and how many) you sent and I doubt they changed that, but evony II is still new so I’m not 100% sure.
I’m will be testing what these people are saying and everyone here should try as well until someone figures out what the actual drop rates are, it is a beta still so things will be changing

i found 23 rose medals on my 2nd day on ageII along with a few lion and cross all in a level 3 swamp.
honour i found all in level 1-4 npc mainly the 1`s & 2`s
after promotion i have found a load more honour in npc`s

INT doesn’t matter.
Type of troops doesn’t matter.
Type of valley doesn’t matter.
Whether or not you capture doesn’t matter.
Loss of troops or “close battle” doesn’t matter.
(You must win the fight, however)
Whenever you hit a valley (and win) some computer somewhere in Evonyland rolls a pair of silicon dice and decides if you win one, and what type.
Roses drop from Level 3,4,2,1 valleys and lvl 1 npcs (shown in order of precedence). Lvl 4v and 1npc are also likely to drop lions or above, and poss other goodies instead of roses.
I prefer to hit w/ archers or cav for speed, enough to ensure no losses, and w/ about 15 min between hits to ensure respawn, although you can get them from a second immediate hit.
If you do not capture, then you also get loot to bring home.
Level 1 50 arch or cav
Level 2 100
Level 3 200
Level 4 400-500 depending on Hero’s ATT
Remember that Flats are valleys too.

There is no way to tell what to send with what hero to send it and where to send it.The drops are completely random..Tested all suggestions to obtain rose medals (scout attacks-archer attacks-high int hero-high attc/int hero-flats-forests-npcs etc etc) to end up attacking 40-50 times/day and NEVER get a single rose medal..Funny part?I obtained all medals needed for Baron rank..but still can’t get to baronet…If someone is not willing to pay for the medals get ready for some real frustration unless you’re lucky enough to get sum coins in wheel…

I’ve hit over 300X today. lvl 3 swamp. with archers. got 1 lion, 1 rose in the first 16 hits, next 300 NOTHING. I don’t think there is any formula .. just blind luck. and for those posts that claim they get super high drop rates .. like 1:5 or 1:10 hits .. don’t believe them.

I have been hitting lvl 1-2 npc’s and lvl 1-5 valleys for weeks now and all I am getting are cross and honor medals. No rose medals. I send out at least 100 attacks a day. It’s just a matter of luck.

I have been attacking level 1-4 valleys for rose medals and haven’t won any. I’ve won quite a few lion medals though. I send 50 arch to lvl 1, 100 archers to lvl 2, 150 to lvl 3.. None of them die but I have never won a rose medal this way
I’m going to try the scout idea..

(about 200 attacks – drop rate about 3%-4%)
average 1 attack per minute = 60 attacks per hour
(capture, abandon, capture, abandon….. tactics)

Was trying the scout method… awesome it goes really fast!
400 scouts on a lvl 3 valley and got a cross
captured a hero and got the buff (was my first one)
all in all I like this method…
I had to keep building scouts though because they slowly get picked off.

Im in na23! Havent had too much luck medal farming and of coarse as of today I have only been playing the game for 3 weeks! But I have found if you occupy all of your vallies in your town hall and then do your attacks you have a greater chance of picking up the medals cause when you attack after having all of what you can occupy full they automatically recall your troops when you attack. So I have been able to pick up a rose and a lion medal since doing this after 5 minutes of trying! So going to keep doing this and see what happens! Will be back to let you know what I get out of this!

im in Ch1 and for your info, scouting method does work… but its better if you use it only for the hero quest for the preperation is very troublesome… first, you will need a town with alot of scouts(like 200k cuz if you go hardcore, you can loose abt 50k scouts daily) and up ur rally spot and feasting hall to lv 9 for both.. now, another reason why i say use it only for the hero quest is also cuz you will need all9 heroes to have pure intell.. for most cities, the ideal is 1 int, 1 pol and the rest att… but for this you will need all with pure intel.. thus this is recommended only if you have at least 8 cities and this is just your farming city… and looking for pure intel heroes is hard. you can either coin and buy hero hunting or when all the heroes in your inn have low intel, you just buy a cheap and lousy hero then dismiss it… untill you get all your with 50++ intel.. now attack your valleys 1-3 with the heroes… pure intel give better chances of drops.. thus, if you are really stubborn and wish to do this with only one or two cities then you will either be screwing up your city by having your heroes max intel (you will know why you need att heroes later in the game, when you start farming historic cities) or you can just use the heroes with high att to do this method. but it will really take a long time cuz high pol and att heroes have low intel, and that diminishes the chance of medal drop by alot… so enjoy

cross meadels can be found in lv 1-2 forset valleys very easly i get one every 20-50 hits i send achers 5k 20 30 secs apart and i send 10 heros so every cycle is 10 hits every 100hits or more u should get 1 lion 1 cross and 1 rose or basiclly every 100 hits 3 of those meadles will drop some times 2 cross 1 rose no lions or 2 lions and 1 cross etc just make sure u hit a low lv valley right next to ur city so u can abandon quickly so its ready for ur next hit 20 secs later hope this helps

I attacked a lvl 4 swamp 40 times, using the attack/abandon technique, i got 1 cross medal and 1 lion medal.
I only need 7 more rose medals 4 promotion to baronet, shouldn’t take long. lol
I’ll try some of the other ideas on here and see what happens.

Also on NA24 and the inability to find rose medals is really frustrating enough to make me want to give up on Evony altogether.
None of the outlined solutions I see in forums that work for other servers seem to work on NA24. Given they’re necessary to get any significant way past the novice level, it seems pointless to make them so hard to find.

Try na25, it is a dry barren evony, i tried spam attack small valleys and come out with nothing. Evony should give more medals drops in AgeII na25.

I am on Age 2 na19. Farming low level valleys (lv1-3 lake, flat or hill) for Rose by conquer/release method with over 50 hits 1 min apart using 50-100 archers. 3 hereos one lv 65 others below 10. No loss to archers but no Rose or any medals either. Why did Evony made Age 2 na19 so hard to farm one medal? So that you pay to buy them or spend 2-4 hrs farming a medal? People have lives besides playing a free game. Sorry for the vent

I’ve been medal farming on the Espada(NA25) for days and it’s only given one stupid Cross Medal. It’s ridiculous! I wish they would please raise the drop rates. Evony-Free forever – FREE being the key word – not having to buy medals because the drop rate is so low…like chop…sorry for venting!

2 from lvl 4 forest farmed the same way.
1 from lvl 4 hill also farmed this way.
all of them gave up a deli gem at lvls 1 & 2 and a flawless at lvl 3

Ive tried every tactic ive seen on any forums for rose medal farming and the most effective is definetly :
Lvl 4 valley 1-3 miles away from your city
Hit, abandon, hit etc. tactic
Does not give you a medal on every hit ofc, but with a little patience youl get there. Farm for a couple of hours, and you will see results better than any other tactic.

Use this method if you are REALLY desperate for rose medals. It’s quite a simple and an easy method too.
Pick out a valley that is level 1 – 4. It can be a swamp, lake, hill, forest, or desert. You can try a flat too, but I never got a medal or anything out of a flat. It should be close to your city, for convenience.
Send archers(only) to that valley. If it is a level 1 valley, I would send about 200 archers. If it was a level 2 valley, I would send 300-400. If it was a level 3 valley I would send 400-500. If it was a level 4 valley I would send 500-600.
Send one attack after another, but keep the time/ distance between each attack to be at least 10- 20 seconds so you can have enough time to release your captured valley. So it’s practically the capture and release method.
* the more heroes you have, the more you can send at a time. I have 9 heroes, so I send all 9 heroes at that 1 valley and after I capture it, I immediately release it, so the next attack can catch it and I do that over and over again.*
I was so frustrated that I couldn’t find any method to help me get rose medals. I tried the scout thing, it was horrible by the way. I tried the send a minimal amount of archers and calvery and all of that stuff. None of it worked, so I gave u on trying to find a method, and just did it my own way.
And guess what? It got me my rose medals that I have been trying to get.
From using this method, you will get:
Gems —> A few
Lion medal —-> A few
Cross medal —-> A few
Rose medal —-> a little
After attacking a level 4 desert for exactly 27 times, I got 3 gems, 2 lion medals, 3 cross medals and 1 rose medal.
It’s not a lot, but it is still more rose medals than you had before.
Oh, and have some patience, trust me, I tried for about 1 month to get only 1 rose medal. I know how hard it is to try to have patience..
So I hope that everyone who reads this will have a better understanding of how to farm for rose medals or any other medals. Good luck!

I got 7 rose medals today attacking a level 2 swamp using the 10 second attack method. I used 100 archers per attack and did not lose a singe one. The drops were about one medal every 40 hits. I was only able to get about 300 hits in all, using 8 heroes, before their strength was too low to strike anymore. So it is helpful to have ginseng, oil, or tea to recuperate your heroes strength after using this method.

I have tried to get rose medals for 2 months now and only 2 rose medals, i have sent 2000+ attacks.
I tried using scout spam, burst attacks, little amounts of troops to increase chance none worked.
It really annoys me when i get the medals when i am taking a valley to keep to increase my production.
I have found heaps of items at lvl 10 valleys but no medals, it would be a good idea to attack 10′s if you need mich scripts or materials for hero gear.
I have tried a couple of methods told on this topic and none have been successful.
Badger, each you you have a gift for medals or you are just lucky.
I played age 1 and now 2 ( gave up on 1 ) and again, stuck on captain and knight, also not finding any medals from medal farming…
I am so desperate for these medals it is not funny.
If anyone has a methos that has worked out for them most of the time could you please post it.
I would greatly appreciate it!

My suggestion for all is to get a high intel hero and bring archers to valleys for 0 losses

its like yr all lying or really not possible for u all to have this much luck acting like U attack a valley and instantly it gets results. or even after 20 or 30 attacks. drop rats are also BS. i’v attacked the same valley with hith intelligence and abandoning 60 times not 1 SINGLE MEDAL!!SHUT UP ALL OF U DONT BELIEVE WHAT U READ ITS ALL BY CHANCE

I hit a lvl 2 desert (didn’t use conquer and abandon technique) with 2 waves of 550 archers and two 70 atk heroes and i got 2 lion medal. lol. this proves that the medal drop rate is by chance.

Word of advice: you DON’T have to capture and release, capture and release valleys, as I got an honor medal with maxed out valleys. The whole “recharging” a velly thing, where you capture and release so the troops will regenerate or “recharge” automatically is unnecessary as well. I’ve gotten more medals from lakes and flats than from other valleys, too. This from na21 and na31. Honor and lions, cross… for hugher medals like nation though, you’re gonna have to hit those lv 10 npc’s. Another tip, to increase the drop rates, do the colonize achievements. those increase the drop rates for you, even though they’re already unbelievably low. -.-

Omg I was just looking through some of these comments and saw this whole scout thing and tried it. Sent out about 5 attacks at lvl 1-2 lakes with 400 scouts and my FIRST attack got a rose medal YES!!

The scout way does seem to be the best way.. did the arch and warrior nothin and take forever… did the scout way faster and boom got a rose and also got a hero with 144 att =p so 500 scout to lvl 1-3 flats or valleys…

Think it should be noted here that you can increase the drop rate percentage by colonising cities. Under achivements the drop rate increases 2,4,6,8,10% depending on the number of colonies you have had. You don’t need to keep them just have them at one point, first is 5, second is 10 third 100 etc.
The rest is up to chance altough I find that I will go a few days without getting anything but ten in one day will get something from nearly every attack.

I have been using the scout attack method with and without increasing intelligence. It appears to have no affect on drop rates.
I AM getting medals, but proportionately less Rose as others, still need 2 more Rose for next promo. Hopefully this is the last promo requiring Rose. I think the last promo needs 5 or 10 but by then you have been accumulating them accidentally anyway.
I think the scout attack method is only advantageous because of speed and range. I can attack valleys that are 8-15 miles away and it greatly increases the number. However, I am maxing out each of my hero’s strength each day (somewhere between 150-200 attacks per day) and been attacking only level 1-3 valleys and flats for several weeks and it is extremely slow.
So… yes it works, but no I don’t believe drop rates are affected one bit! Today I hit 171 times and only got 4 medals, 1 Rose and 3 others.
