NPC city level 4
The level 4 NPC is a very popular NPC type to farm, the only one more popular would be the NPC level 5. Farming the level 4 you will get quite a few resources with each attack, while you still can do so with way less ballistae compared to the level 5 NPC. People still prefer that level 5 NPCs usually, but farming the level 4 NPC is very common too.
If you want to farm NPCs with 0 losses, you should get Archery to at least level 6 first, and Horseback Riding should always be lower than archery so that you don’t run your your ballistae into the archer’s tower range too quickly. This table gives you minimum ballistae sent to successfully attack with 0 losses. Send enough transports to carry all the resources back, don’t use workers.

ok well one of the members of our alliance attacked a lvl 4 NPC and lost everything, his Archery was lvl 6 and HBR was lvl5, has anyone else attacked a 4 and lost everything.

I took a level 4 NPC, used 260 Ballistas, 70 transports. I lost 14 ballistas, gained 1 delicate gem. Note, I’ve taken several NPC using overpowering forces, and got no gems, medals. According to King Lush, you need cut back forces, so there’re more rounds in order to get gems or medals!

Add about 10% if you use a low-attack hero like a politician.
Even should you fail, the fight will go 100 rounds with zero losses – you’ll get most of the experience but none of the plunder.

I have attacked a lvl 4npc and lost it all, but used a hero with attack 57. Lost 880 bakkistas and 600 trans.

I have attacked a lvl 4 npc two different times. the first time I attacked with 400 Ballistas and 400 Transporters with Archery lvl 6 HBR lvl 5 and MT lvl 6 and lost everything. So the next attack was with 500 Transporters and 571 Ballistas and the same research levels and still lost everything. So I have no faith in the numbers provided in this guide

Anybody who has HBR high (like lvl4-5 up) are expected to lose some.
The higher your HBR the faster ur ballistas get in range of the enemy which means youll kill less enemies before your troops are in the enemy’s range.
My HBR is 2, My Arch is 7, my MT is 5, I send 400 ballistas and 200 transports no casualties, with a lvl 110 attack hero.
This guide works if you guys realize how ignorant you are when you don’t realize HBR is sometimes A BAD THING!
People with lower HBR can be expected to take npcs out with fewer ballistas!

Guys – here is what works on LV 4 for me:
Hero – Attack 114
Archery – Lv 7
MT – 6
IW – 6
HBR – 2
I sent 304 Ballista. Also had penicillin active at the time. I listed IW (Iron Working) as this was the point in AGE I where I stopped losing Ballista to NPC, so I ensured in AGE II I had this at a level equal to MT.

I use 500 balls and trans to attack lvl 4 NPC with hero att lvl 65 and arch 7, MT 6, HBR 5. I have successfully gotten a gem and a medal nearly each time I have attacked. The medals and gem types vary, but they are still medals and gems!

I send 175 Ballista everytime to Lvl4 Npc with no losses. Archery lvl9 MT lvl9 and any hero with 80 or more attack. I plan to send 290 ballista to Lvl5 will let yall know what happens. 300 Ballista for a Lvl 4 with Lvl9 Archery LMAO

The amount is quite right, But most of you commit the same error you put your HBR too high! lvl 1-2-3 are sufficient for 0 loose with all the arch lvl up to 9.

With arch 10 and hbr 7 I can send 280 with a 120+ str hero without losses. Get your tech’s up guys, also higher HBR ain’t that bad really

It’s a must have thing for attacking NPC’s: at least 2 spots between Arch. and Hbr. Exmpl.: 8/6, 7/5, 6/4, etc. Never 8/7 or 7/6 or 6/5 will lose.

for a lvl 1 to lvl 5 npc u must have ur archrey 1 lvl higher then ur hores back riding unless they r both lvl 10 or u will have losses \ this guide is only for lvl 1 to 5 npc

It all depends on your levels…, ive been attacking with 200 ball, 300 trans and i win everytime with no loses.
