NPC City level 10
The level 10 NPC city is a very popular type of NPC city to farm. Many players also conquer these NPC cities, since they are filled up with level 10 buildings they are really useful after all. You don’t farm the level 10 NPC using ballistae, as you will have heavy losses doing so and ballistae are slow to rebuild. Instead most players usually use a rainbow archer formation. On most Evony Age 1 servers you will find tons of these level 10 NPCs that top players have built around their cities. Some players farm up to a 100 level 10 NPCs every day to get food to support their massive armies. With Evony Age 2 I believe the level 10 NPC farming will continue, but it is not possible to build a ton of them around you like it was in Evony Age 1. It will be interesting to see how NPC farming will affect the game in the Age 2 version of Evony.

If you build an NPC in Evony Age II it will be removed by the server that you play on at the time of “maintenance” each day. Therefore it is useless to waste your time,effort and resources to do so. My source is confidential but accurate,and the reasoning behind this fact is to stop players from hording available flats that would otherwise be used for players to expand their empire.

It sucks you can’t build NPC, and i think it is only so they need less server for all the people who want to play. Now i don’t like age 2 no more

stinks not being able to build npc’s–built two lvl 5′s woke up next day and they are gone…would’ve been nice if the evony folks had let us know that up front–if they did i missed it

These are not Age 1 10′s, lost attacking with lvl 100 hero atk 223, 98k arch, 2k war, +1 rainbow. Second wave won 25k arch, 2k trans, +1k rainbow. No buffs, NPC hero lvl 19. Looking for new strategy. Will report on warrior meat wave. I am getting Nation medals 5 to 1 over Justice and 20% getting no medals. This is only place I’ve found Nation or Justice medals. Highest from a lvl 9 NPC is Freedom, got 3 and quit 9′s.

nope, sorry badger, player created NPCs most definitely disappear after server maintenance on Age II. Any ones remaining will have been a glitch. This has been confirmed by Evony representatives and by my extensive personal experience.

I don’t get it.
I’ve been attacking with 200+ Attack Hero, 100K arch and rainbow.
Been scouting for low hero’s, found one, attacked and there was a higher lvl all of a sudden.
Lost all troops 2 times.
Arent there any solutions of winning without so many losses?

Its all wrong, what I have read so far!
I just tried farming with 350 swords, 1k workers/pikes/scout, 1650 warrior, 2k transports n 93k archers.
techs all 10, hero 235 attack n buffs active
LOST THE LOT
(also scouted hero to lvl4, but was 42 when I attacked)
In AgeII the leadership of your hero is vital.

I’ve been conquering the level 10′s with no problem.
2k rainbow 90k archers and a 200+ atk hero.
Do the same on the 2nd wave and then follow up with 20k arch, 20k warrior until taken.
I do have some buffs on though, corslett etc.

I was wondering, even though player-made NPCs disappear during the daily maintenance, would it be possible to create a level 10 NPC and then conquer it within the same day, thus not giving the city a chance to disappear?
Just curious if there is something that doesn’t allow player-made NPCs to be conquered. Thanks!

No problems attacking and conquering level 8npc or 10npc with hero level 80 and attack level 180

Scouting lvl 10 NPC does not work on Age 2. Defending Hero will be random. Intelligenco of the attacking hero is also a factor in addition to attack and leadership stats. After a few total losses:( I attacked w/ lvl 95 hero leadership 95, attck 220, intel 18, 95k arch,2200 trans, 1k scout, 1k warr, 300 swords, 500pikes. lost all rainboow and 24k arch. Then used 93 lvl hero, 93 leadership,223 attack,35 intel. lost all rainbow and only 17k arch. It could also be due to defenting hero stats,though in age2 battle calculator (http://www.evocalc.com/) intelligence is also a factor.

been farming level 10 npcs using a 4k trans 20k ballista 1 of each warrior worker pike sword and scout and the rest archers using ensign without much problems am using queen with max attack at level 100 though

The best way to do a L 10 is capture a L10 valley. Build a new city there. Abandon it. Then capture it before “maintainence” time. That leaves the permanent L10′s to farm.

This is my strategy
Build alot of archers (how many depends on npc lvl)
Then build even more warriors(depends on how many traps the npcs have)
Then send in all your warroirs to get rid of the traps. Right when you are able to send all your archers into the enemy base a littleafter your warriors pass your march time
ex: march time (warriors) 18 min 52 sec
March time (archers) 19 min 2 sec

How often can you farm a level 5 NPC, is it once every 24 hours, more?, less?

Resources are fully replenished every 8 hours in an npc. So technically you can farm it 3 times a day. If you can time the server maintenance right you can actually get 4 times
