NPC City level 1
The level 1 NPC is the weakest type of NPC village there is, and it’s the type of NPC most players start with at first. There is not a lot of resources in this NPC, but compared to the number of troops there are for defence in the city, the resources you get from plundering it is not bad.
Especially early on a server plundering level 1 NPCs can be a good idea. The reason is that prices for resources are very low early on a server, and the gold you get from plundering the level 1 NPC can help you a lot on expanding quickly.
If you want to farm NPCs with 0 losses, you should get Archery to at least level 6 first, and Horseback Riding should always be lower than archery so that you don’t run your your ballistae into the archer’s tower range too quickly. This table gives you minimum ballistae sent to successfully attack with 0 losses. Send enough transports to carry all the resources back, don’t use workers.

you only need 3k waorkers and warriors to hit a npc1. you will get losses but it is far easier to hit without using ballistas. since you cant build ballistas til you have advanced further in the game. it is pointless to send 50 ballistas to a npc1 when you can send 550 to a npc5

if you plan your begginers protection right, then you will come out of protection with over 100 balls and trans with an archery level of at least 7, this is more efficient than losses from spending more on workers and warriors!

it only takes like 5 ballistae to clear a lvl 1 npc… horseback riding at lvl 1 and archery at 7 your ballistae basically sit still and shoot em dead.

This is for you out there who need to attack npc but don’t know how to do it.
First you need to lvl up enough barracks and research to get batllistas and transporters.
Then you will need:
Level 1 NPC: 30 ballista
Level 2 NPC: 60 ballista
Level 3 NPC: 200 ballista
Level 4 NPC: 300 ballista
Level 5 NPC: 550 ballista
Level 6 NPC: 900 ballista
Level 7 NPC: 1600 ballista
Level 8 NPC: 3100 ballista
Transporters:just use enough so that you get all the resources.

lv8 npc is 70k warriors and roughly 5k trans you will have about 52700 losses in warriors and you get about 5.7mill food and abt .5mill everything else and roughly 361000 gold

Blackcloud’s numbers are very good, a little high once you get all your techs done, but it is true that level 5 is as high as you can go without losses, then you have to change your tactics.

or you could just say NO to the warriors hitting a lvl 8 and do
1k work
2k war
3k scout
92k arch
2k trans
and just empty the whole thing. a lot better than only get a smaller percentage of the resources they offer
