Medals farming in Evony by scout spamming
You can easily get all the medals you need by using the strategy called scout spamming. I expect they might change this soon in a patch, so better do a lot of this while you can. They’ve changed it back and forth one time already, first it was possible, then it was almost impossible to get medals, and now it’s possible to get medals this way again.
Anyways, what you do is to build as high level as possible with feasting hall and rally point in a city. Level five or higher is good, the higher it is the faster you can get medals. Then you make sure you’ve conquered the maximum valleys that your city can have, so that you don’t conquer a valley in your next attack. Last thing you have to do before you start is to recruit a bunch of cheap heros so that your feasting hall is full.
Now the fun begins. First attack a valley beside your city with your whole army to kill all the troops there. When all the troops are dead start sending attacks with 1 scout and 1 hero at the valley, over and over. You won’t get medals ever single time, but like 20-30% of the time you should get medals.
You can easily send 6-7 attacks at the valley every minute, and you will get lots of medals this way. From my experience you can do this for at least 20 minutes before the troops return to the valley, and once they do you just go kill them with your army again before you return with scout attacks.

Correct, they have changed this now so it doesn’t work anymore. Now you have to fight some troops to get the medals, and the higher level valleys and NPC villages, the better medals you get.

i have NEVER found medals yet…….
what’s up??? i am in Romagna and have attacked every flat except 9′s and 10′s. i have attacked desert, grassland, lake, swamp, forest… i have attacked NPC’s and they have nothing to give either.

Be wary, If your single scout dies, this results to loss of Prestige. Make sure to check if your attack was successful.

Scout spamming in general does not work, it was fixed in a patch. U need to watch out when using tricks u have read about on evony cause it is constantly being updated. You only get medals 1 percent of the time, this is a very frustrating aspect of evony, and i am currently reconsidering wheather i play anymore because of it. I have been unlucky and attacked 400 valleys and only received 2 medals. If the designers of evony think i am going to stick around to make 800 attacks to get 5 rose medals then they are bloody mistaken.

MEDAL FARMING STILL WORKS. There is a way. Trust me, at best i can only accomplish 24.3% effective rate, and there is no way to pinpoint which medal you get, but it is possible. I’ve gotten 21 medals in 4 days. Work hard, and you too, will figure it out. I will not publish it, for fear that they put out another patch to screw us into buying medal boxes. But there is a way.

Now as far as what works best, follow these easy steps.

the best way i have found to get medals was to atack lvl 10 flats with 10k+ archers. outta the 20-30 lvl 10 flats i have attacked i have gotten 5 medals in the last 4 days.

lord fright you say to read hods (i love hods its so helpfull) yet then u say to spam the valleys with 15 second intervals but if youve actualy read what hods say you are wrong! “Always allow troops to fully regenerate in an NPC or valley or you WILL NOT have a high chance of getting a medal. I repeat, always allow the troops in a valley or NPC to fully regenerate or you will lower your chances of getting a medal by a lot. *Note* Troops are fully regenerated after 1 hour of being defeated.” that is from http://www.hods.com/evony/getting-medals/ 1 HOUR!

I have just done as Lord Fright said and got 2 cross medals in my first nine attacks, leaving about 10secs between attacks.

–JAMBOB– That is correct but if you read my “STEP 2″ you abandon the valley once you take it over. When you do this your following army will attack that same valley and the VaLLey will be regenerated right away instead of one hour. Thanks for responding. Ok here is the method i found worked i average at least 1 medal a day =]
For lion medals attack lv 9 and 10 hills but 6+ should be alright but attack it with 20k archers and a HIGH INTEL hero! It greatly increases your chance!
Rose medals can be found in high level lake using the same methods but are also found in High level flats e.g. 9 and 10 =]
Honour medals are found in high level Forests E.g 9 and 10
Cross medals are scattered randomly.
Courage are found in hills level 9 and 10 and in Flats and deserts i’ve found all high levels there 8+
Nation medals are found only in lv10 npc’s i believe but i have not had one myself as of yet and been farming them for a couple days =S
Justice medals are found in High level deserts from my research so far.

Too simply add all of these attacks should be done with a high intel hero 85+
and should only be done once every 1 hour!

OK, back again…
I’ve tried the Scout Spamming method and found that it works pretty darn good. Just follow these easy steps.
**Note** it seems that your Hero’s levels don’t matter” Any Hero will do just fine.
(1) Find a level 3 swamp 1 mile from your city “it works the best”
(2) Send 10K scouts i.e. “K = Thousand” to attack the Valley. After your army conquers the Valley, abandon it right away and send another 10K scouts to reconquer the same Valley. There will be about a 10 second gap between attacks.
“Abandoning a Valley regenerates all troops instantly instead of having to wait an hour” A recharged Valley will greatly increase your chance of obtaining Medals.
Follow step (2) over and over again “I did this for 7 hours non-stop and had thousands of attacks. I lost a total of 80K scouts, about 100 to 130 scout deaths per attack” Costly but, WELL WORTH IT!!
-I gained 13 Rose Medals, 8 Lion Medals and 14 Cross Medals in 7 hours.
-Every server has a “Drop Rate” Typically either 1 or 2. Meaning 1 Medal every hour or 2 Medals every hour. Drops can be sporadic at best.
For higher Medals i.e. Wisdom, Courage and Freedom Medals…
(1) You Typically Send 500 Ballista’s and 500 Transports to a level 5 NPC. Use the same method only adding a single scout to your attacks or how ever many scouts you like.
-Having Scouts greatly increase the “Drop Rate”
For Nation and Justice Medals
I found the first 3 attacks on a recharged level 10 NPC will typically offer one or the other.

the 1 scout spaming doesnt work anymore. thats from long time ago. lord fright is attacking with scout cos they travel faster. but you need lots as they dont have such good attacking force.

I have noticed that in ages II with the medal farming that they have pretty much taken out all the valley or npc level requirements to obtain medals. It doesn’t seem to matter if you attack with certain troops or hero’s if a medal was dropped there then it was dropped there. I have gotten justice medals from lvl 5 npc’s and lion medals from lvl 10 valleys. So with this said I really think it has gotten more random than ever before.

OK, if you read my earlier posts, that method will work like a charm in the older servers… unless you happen to come from Super Server Hell.
The new Super Server’s drop rate is all but gone. Npc’s don’t drop medals anymore. “There is no more quick way to obtain medals” Why you may ask? Well, the folks at Evony thought that medals were coming to players to easy. They want the players to feel that they achieved something when they finally reach Prinz… right, think they just want you to buy your medals
However there is a method that works, but it will take you FOREVER! Medals are now dropped in Level 10 Valleys and Level 10 Flats “the medals dropped are random”… a little more often in those flats, but If your Super Server is like mine then you will notice there are no more flats, because they have all been turned into Npc’s and Level 10 Valleys are all taken by friendlies… so pretty much medals are impossible.
So for you SS’ers that need medals follow this easy guide.
(1) Purchase coins
(2) Attack the Shop
(3) Repeat as necessary

I have only had success using scouts to attack LV 1-3 valleys. Send 400 scouts to attack any LV1-3 valley and you will get a medal every 5-6 attacks. Yes you take losses, it’s not completely foolproof but it definitely works. Out of 100 attacks I got about 18 medals. Cross, Lion and Rose medals. You can still use your empty spots and abandon the valleys straight away to prompt immediate regeneration, however, I tend to just attack all of the ‘different’ Level 1-3 valleys within a 20 mile radius. Because you’re using scouts, the attack’s are fast. If you dedicate 20 minutes and 10k scouts to just doing these sorts of attacks you WILL earn medals fast. ‘scouts honor’
Don’t attack level 4+ valleys using this method as the losses are too great to be worth it.

have tried every level of npc’s. have tried different level of heroes and troops. have not received any medals as of yet. i have been trying for about 3 months now. there are no medals out there to get!!!!

Wow talk about a lot of personal experience advice. its crazy. I found rose medals the hardest. All I hit are lvl 3,4 and 5 npc for hero experience, resources and 1 or 2 medals a day. I am getting 4-5% frop rate which matchs my achivments page of 10 colines. Rose,lion and honer from lvl3s lion lvl 4 and courge on lvl 5. Get gems, scripts, speakers and other things on occasion. Someone telling you they are getting 30% drop rate seems high. If your a knight with 2 cities you are limited. I am baron with 4 lvl 10 basis sending out 30 hits twice a day. Good luck

I’m on Na27 martel. Age II. title Duke.
I found all my roses from the shop. scout first, purchase coins and buy the mdlbox. duh.. SAD. coz i was fedup hunting for roses. I had my colonisation buff max – 400. 25% buff but no rose ever drop.
For any other medals i have better luck. Honor- hit NPC 2 to 4; I found them while i was looking for rose. Lion- hit lvl NPC 3 & 4; wisdom/courage/freedom from lvl5 NPC; Justice/Nation from lvl 10NPC; justice bit hard as most time i got Nation instead. DAMNNNN I WANT JUSTICE ^.^
Rate; i send like 30 attack to different NPC at 1 time. and i send 2 to 3 attack of total between 60 to 90 attacks total; Actually i just farming and the medals was byproduct of it
, drop rate of 30 attack i get 2 to 5 medals.

EASY WAY TO BUILDING TROOPS
See below (0-0)
first of all build as much cities as u can.
second make them only pure iron( well depends on which resources pays the most in ur market, but here on server 34 its iron worth 3.8)
third build nine cottages and get em to level 9
fourth make sure all ur iron mines are level 9 or maxed.
fifth build market
sixth sell iron from all cities
seventh ull earn about 10-20mil from every city. with that money,depending on what ur building,for instance archers; buy loads of food maybe 5mil, loads of lumber maybe 7mil, ( remember to save up some stock on the iron for constructing… maybe 5mil)
8th build barracks
9th upgrade barracks to required level of what u need to make the troop… remember to also have an academy at level 5… for technology needfed for the unit
10th go to town hall and set tax rate and production to 0%.
11th go back to barracks
12th build your troops
13th enjoy the millions u make
TIPS: Make a lot of barracks so that it doesnt take too long when it comes to producing the unit. u dont want something like 3600 hours until the amount of troops ur training to be done. if u spread it out between all ur barracks it will be faster… maybe u can build 18 barracks
Note: if have a specific city for production of troops do steps 1-6 then transport those cities resources to ur production city to be made.

I got 4 lion medals in 2 hours, and I hit with 6 waves at a time. on a level 4. I use 2 scouts, 400 archers.
i time it about 15 seconds apart, so i have time to abandon between each hit.
Unfortunately Ive been trying for 1 rose medal…. for my 3rd city…
