Instant conquering of level 10 NPC using camp time

with 12 comments

This Evony guide will show you how to conquer a level 10 NPC in less than one minute by timing attacks from several different of your villages using camp time. This NPC can be far away from you, as far as 100 miles, so it’s just like anĀ advancedĀ teleport without the delay. This can be really useful if you want a forward base far away from you to launch attacks from.

The number of troops you need to do this is about 130,000 archers, 400,000 warriors and transports. You also need a high attack hero as well as maxed technology. Most players have way more troops than this on older servers, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

First thing you have to do is to find out when the NPC refreshes. The way to find this out is to launch an attack at it to kill some troops and then send in scouts every minute to see when the number of troops in the NPC increases. If the refresh is at say 11:59:05, you can be pretty sure there is no respawn of troops from 12:00 to 12:05, so you can choose your one minute window from 12:00 to 12:01, or a two or three minute window to 12:02 or 12:03 if you find you need more time.

If you use this strategy for short range you can use ballistas, to limit your losses, say 15k ballistas and 5k transports. For medium or long range you need to use archers, the longer it is the more transports you will need to carry the food upkeep. 98k archers and 2k transports is a good force for the first attack. Your second attack should also have a lot of archers to take out the remaining archer towers, say 30k archers and 30k warriors would be good.

The total number of attacks you need to conquer the level 10 NPC is exactly 40, and you need to have all the 40 heros as well as troops ready at the same time. After the two first attacks to clear the defense you just send an attack hero with 10k warriors in each of the remaining 38 attacks. In the last attack you can send a larger force if you want more troops stationed there, in case you fear some neighbour will try to conquer the NPC from you right away.

The way to time your attacks is to use camp time, yes this function is actually usefull sometimes! Just to give an example.

Initial Strike: 12:00:00
Second AT killing strike: 12:00:05
37 10k warrior waves: 12:00:10
Last conquering wave : 12:01:00

It may be hard to do it all within a one minute window, if the server is lagging and stuff, but it’s definitely possible. You can spread it out over as much as a 6 minute window though, since that’s the NPC refresh rate. You need to find out the distance from each of your cities to the NPC before starting to do this. Then you just send from the furthest city first, then from the second furthest and so on. It’s not at hard as it sounds, and it gets very easy with some practice.

  2. Hey just a question: can you substitute archers for warriors? Use 10k archer waves instead of warrior waves?

I still don’t know what camp time is, and you reference that its used, but never indicate what/how etc.

In this case, what do you put into the camp time fields? and how does it help vs just looking at the estimated arrival time?

  5. the problem i have with attack time is that the march time listed when you send the attack isn’t the same as the actual march time. it depends on the hero attack lvl.

  6. You can find out how long it will take for each hero by going one by one in each city. Click the NPC and send a hero with like 2 warriors on an attack of the NPC. When it says March successful close the window and write down the time for that hero. Go to Army movements and recall the attack. (You could go back to the feasting hall of the hero to recall them, but then you have to go back to map and scroll back to the NPC.)

In AGE II all heroes of the same speed level will have the same travel time regardless of their level.

Just make sure that the hero you will be using the transports with is timed in an attack using transports as they can slow him/her down quite a bit.

Then time the attacks yourself. It is pretty easy to do.

Also , I found that the 6 minute window thing doesn’t really apply in AGE II. I sent 31 attacks to a level 8 NPC that all landed within 3 minutes of each other and every one of them showed that the NPC had regenerated defenses, both troops and fortifications.

Would have sent three more to arrive in that time frame as well, but the game kicked me and I couldn’t log back in for almost 15 minutes. Because of that I had to send an additional 25 attacks to conquer the city.

All the attacks were warriors. First one was 85K + transports. The rest were all 10K with no transports.

  7. I should add to the above post, that I did not get any drops whatsoever from the 56 attacks. Also that even when the NPCs loyalty reached zero it still took about 4 more attacks to finally conquer it.

  8. Npcs regenerate some troops during the 6 min time zone that’s why you cant just send like 500 warriors. as far as i know in age one all attacks are the same time no matter what the hero lv, att, poli or intel is.

  10. you only need 30 attacks, not 40. Provided you send bigger attacks, like 20 – 25k archers. makes it a lot easier, as more troops are easier to come by than more rally spots. Not to mention needing less heros.

  11. For Age II the hero times change because of the hero gear. Go to each one of your heroes if they have different lvl gear on. And take of just the Mount training gear, this will make all heroes move the same no matter what lvl or attack they are. Keep the rest of the gear on to have the attack bonus. Plus do not click on the facebook adds with the ZZZ – that makes you mvoe faster messing up your times.

    Thank me later :p
