How to make 10 million gold a day in Evony
You can make more than 10 million gold a day in Evony using this strategy. Actually 10 million is just a cool number, the correct one is 950,000 gold an hour, most people don’t play 24/7 however. The way to do this is to raid NPC villages, and I will tell you how.
To do this I would recommend having a minimum of two villages, and one of them should be as close to a level 5 NPC village as possible. The level 5 NPC village will have 950,000 gold in it when full, it regenerates all that gold in one hour, so to get the max from it you should be within half an hour from it with transports.
To plunder it I would like to have at least 70,000 warriors, so that you minimize losses. Depending on your hero and technology you will loose about 14,000 warriors in each attack. You should also use 1 pikeman, swordsman, archer, cavalry and cataphract for layering, else losses will be higher.
The reason you choose a level 5 NPC is all the gold it has compared to the number of fortications and troops. The higher level NPC villages have a lot more troops compared to the gold they hold, and are not really worth plundering using warriors.
As you might have understood, the lower the wood prices the more profitable this strategy is. It also depends on food prices, as there are about 3 million food in the NPC village in addition to the gold. There are also other resources, but only like 120,000 of each so those don’t matter much. As long as wood prices are lower than about 0.7 this strategy is profitable.
To rebuild warriors fast enough you need a lot of barracks, 15-18 in each village. It depends on how high level cottages you have, since you need to be able to get population fast enough to train warriors all the time. It’s also good with high level barracks so you can keep production running during night. Please leave some comments if you like this strategy!
Edit: The lvl 5 NPC now holds only 450,000 gold, also the NPC villages only regenerate their resources once every 24 hours. You can still make decent money using this strategy, but far from the amount of money you used to, unless you happen to have like 10 NPC villages around you.

This is an expensive route for Lvl5s. An alternate idea given you have ballistas (and you should if you can support 70k warriors) would be to use 500-600 ballistas and enough transporters to carry the loot back. If you do this right, with the right archery level and strong leader; you can take “0″ losses which will save you a lot of time and resources rebuilding troops.

If you attack with 500 transports and 400 ballista you get it all every 24 hrs. 3,000,000-food, 180,000 of wood,stone,iron, and 450,000-gold. every time no loss ever.

There aren’t any cheats, simple as that. To minimize construction time however, you can research ‘construction’ in your academy. Every upgrade decreases construction time by 10%, quite worth it.

Just wanted to leave a comment for everyone: the best unit is the swordsman. You keep saying that the ballista is great but it’s not, it uses up 5 population and swordsmen only 1 population. So put in the rally spot 1000 ballista against 5000 swordsmen to see who will win. Ha, then you guys will really see which is the better unit.

From my second city 9 heros 200 Ballistas / 300 Transports to hit all the level 4′s. 0 losses
I do this anywhere from 1 – 5 times a day depending if and when I can get to my computer. With a large army its important to keep sending out to get food when your not attacking/defending non NPC.

well I think this all works well… but why waste warriors.. yes u get prestige for losing troops… I use 550 balista and 450 transports 0 losses… 10 million gold a day… And 1 million of each resource a hour…. I kill kill kill…

the reason you choose lv5 npc is because 5 is the highest you can go with no loss lv 6+ npcs have trebuchet, witch ensures at least a few losses. and like most of the comments on here, ballistas + transports throw warriors out of the water

hey my friends, read this and you will be fine, try to get ur archery technology to lvl. 10 as soon as possible, and when u do that, attack lvl.5 npc by 500 ballista and 500 transporters so you lose nothing but get all the gold resources in it.

Resources regenerate every 8 hours and after the reboot. This means that you can effectively farm NPC 4 times per day. Once before and after the reboot and 2 times spaced evenly during the day. They will be 90-95% regenerated which is usually good enough. You also receive the benefit of leveling up your heroes 4 times per day.

how does one know how much you might have, I am new and was away for 4 days, in that time I fell off the status of beginner, and was constantlly attacked and every thing was taken…I had quite a stockpile, even when I departed for my vatation. How can this be provented? I see ppl listed as peacetime in the evenings, what are the hours of attack, and how can somone so far away attack me every 4 min. when it took me like 50min. to get to his castle….so many questioins. do not know where to go to find them, forms take too long for answers. then must be a writen guide.

Hey, first and foremost, I’m Rajah of Forsak3n… a friendly alliance of server n3. Regarding farming lvl 5 npc’s, 500 ballistas and 400 transporters are enough… you can clean it completely and just need to wait for 8 hours to harvest it again. Secondly I make it a point to make as many archers as i can… I used to have a Million archers and atleast 50K of everythign in each city.. ohhh, 1 mil archers spread in 8 cities.

ohhh, newbies… an advice, buid you prestige as fast as possible and join an alliance quickly, find an alliance who will accept you. if you have a teleporter ( advance teleporter ), tele near you bigger alliance mates, for protection, atleast until you’re strong enough to defend your self.

Still the best to send for lvl 5 npc’s are : 500 ballistas and 400 transporters.
Always 0 loss. Send 9 attacks 3x a day (means every 8hours) from all of your 10 cities and you really have a very great resources in house there considering all the lvl 5 npc’s that you attacked are not yet pundered by other players.

This is an alright strategy but I make 250 million gold easily a day and my prestige is only 70k. I have over 2 billion gold in my bank right now and growing.

Playing the Evony ‘stock’ market is the best way to really make money and without sacrificing any troops.
Feeding a few million archers devouring ungodly amounts of food is easily done this way.
Buy low, sell high. With my level 9 market I can buy 9999999(*9) food @ $13 totaling about $1.1bil ($130mil*9) each and reselling it shortly after for $20 making a cool $1.8bil; about a $650mil profit. Doing this several times per day keeps me with plenty of resources for building mass armies and keep the troops stocked with food.
Simply set all the bids, walk away and a little while later you’re sure to have bought or sold whatever you wanted as the market fluctuates a lot throughout the day. Sometimes setting food to maybe buy at $12 or sell at $21-22 nets a little more when I go to bed and it generally always sells since I’m asleep for a few hours…
Granted when I started out I could only buy a few $mil worth and not the mass quantities I am buying now in both of my cities, so it does take a week or two to get in the $100 millions if you do not already have a good bit of money.
Also, keep a MASSIVE stock of stone (several 100mil if not 1bil) to prevent other players from looting your stock of food and gold if you do happen to get hit.. All they get is worthless stone for $0.01 a piece, much better than $13 a piece for food, lumber and iron.

Oh that’s a load of bullshit. This is something everybody already. And the warrior part, who would make 70k of them? Nobody make does once they can make archers and ballistas. Having about 500 ballistas can beat a lvl 6 so lvl 5 would look like a piece of cake to it.

Okay. Thank you for the type. I play World ss12. Once I finish that world I will play Age II since World ss12 is an Age I world. And I will attack an NPC village once I have 250 ballistas. Than on NPC towns I would use 250 catapults if I am lucky to get mechinc battalion.

thats how newbies plunder npc’s with ballistas alone and trans 400balls,300trans would give a 3million food and some resources every attack on a fresh lvl5 no losses but thats the newbies way… when u get 5million -6million troops plundering lvl5 wont be enough for newbies but if u know the trick of 20m-30m food and 1million of each resources in a single lvl5 with a very minimal lost so minimal u would not care if u do it ten times u would never farm the same way again… well u gotta figure it out for youreselves guys
