How to get medals on new Evony servers, drop guide
The medals drop rate of the new Evony servers is horrible, some people say as high as 5%, but to me it seems more like 2%. This means that you have to spend a lot of time to get the medals you need to advance. Kinda sucks that the drop rate is this low, but nothing to do about it, you just got to be patient. It seems NPC villages do not give medals often here on these servers, like they do on the other type of servers.
You will need serveral high attack heros and high level feasting halls to be able to medal farm at any decent rate here. One strategy some players use is to attack lots of level 10 NPC valleys with archers, valleys that don’t have archers or cavalry defending them that is. Doing this you will not have much losses and can do it all the time while online. You do need like 1k scouts and level 10 informatics to be able to scout them though.
Scout spamming doesn’t seem to work when medalfarming on the newest servers. You can warrior spam however, or rather attack a bunch of level 5 – 10 valleys with as many warriors as you need. It will take you a long time, but the only other option than getting medals in attacks is buying them in the store after all.

It is said that attacking a lvl 9-10 valley with 100k scout is also a good idea to medal farm. Is it true?

u can use a bot and make a loop to attack and make sure u have enought archers and u have full limit of valleys

I got 5 medals on server 84 and all I did was attack level 10 forests with 90k archers though I lost quite alot of archers.

i have a rate of 25% on server 93
i use between 18K and 24K archer on valleys lvl 10 without cavs or archer for not having loss
but i need heroes under lvl 55 and not farming NPC’s in same times or the rate wll be at 2 or 5%
my best day was 14 medals in 8 hours

i have gotten quite a few medals from lv 7 8 and 9 flats, mainly using 10 to 15k warriors. always had some losses but had about a 20% drop rate. server number 127. also was before i made any balistas or npcs. once i started that it seemed to change the rate. am not a pro but it did work for me. best was 5 medals, 2 were nation, in about 3 hrs.

well i attack lvl9 and 10 they both gave me 2 or 3 medals in 15 attacks,i lose about 10k archers a day with it and still hit npc at the same time,diffrent hero to,seems u need lots of losses to get them
the more troops in vally the more medals u get
works best with high hero in it to
honor i got 2 in 3 weeks from npc lvl4 with 200 ballista
maybe the first hit on npc lvl4 city gives u honor medals,not sure about that

A simple method : 2000 War 800 Arch-aquire cross-lion medals lvl 1-4 flat or valley(low losses) Increase troop ratio with lvl flat(500 war 200 arch per lvl). I have been using this method on server na1 for quite some time and find desired medals atleast 1 out of every 6 attacks. I commonly aquire more than 1 “treasure” also.

I have attacked I’d say about 50 low lvl valleys on na7
and I have gotten 3 lion medals out of the deal. I would say that is a better drop rate than my Age 1 server where I have attacked a valley 100 times just for one.
The problem is that I want ROSE medals. I have tried attacking JUST lakes- lvl 1-3 and NADA. I have YET to yield a rose medal from any valley.
I have also gotten a higher medal from one of the valleys. I just can’t remember what kind lol
Anyways… I just have to say… This guide mostly sucks… just to put that out there. There are no real details or substance. Run arounds or answers that most of us already know if you played Age 1.

I have been attacking valleys lvl 1-4 pretty much for a day of and on and got 3 lion medals, a justice and a rose medal.
It was the rose medals i wanted, so yea it was pretty disappointing, but, last 2 times i attacked a lvl 1 flat with 1000 swordsmen and 1000 archers or even less and i got roses both times, may be lucky, if so, i hope it continues…

Increasing the item drop rate on Evony 2
There is an acheivement wich does increase your item drop rate.
It’s based on the total towns that you have colonized.
Each target amount adds another 2% to the base drop rate.
The targets are..

Note, this is a total count, so if you colonize a town and then that player hets kicked for being inactive, it still counts.
I’ve only got the 2nd acheivement so far, thats +4% over the base rate and I seem to be getting item drops from 2 out of 3 attacks. Not sure how the maths of that works out, but I’m not complaining!
So if you want to increase your item drop rate and improve your chances of getting medals, get colonizing

I beg to differ – I found 5 medals in the last 5 days with just scouts – regardless of hero’s level. 2 Rose and 3 lions – seems to work – 3K scouts at a lvl1-3 flat/valley

Lol… i can explain the problem… dont use high attack heros… high intel = higher medal drop %.. idc what anyone says. I have experimented with it…. i went a whole month attacking valleys and npcs with 100+ attack heros and got roughly 15 medals the whole month. The next month i switrched them all to 100+ intel heros. With intel heros i get roughly 20-30 medals a day. there are times when i constantly attack valleys and get 6 medals for 8-10 attacks. another useful thing to do is find out how many archers are needed to successfully conquer a valley that drops the medals you need.(i find swamps/lakes work best regardless of lvl). use those archers and high intel heros(the more the better) and send waves at 1 valley 30 secs apart. make sure you have an open spot to conquer for valleys. conquer the valley and immediately abandon for the next hit. when you abandon a valley the troops auto regen. this means you dont have to wait to attack it again. if there are troops to kill you have a better chance of getting medals. obviously you have to wait an hour for an npc to regen troops. nothing to change that unless you can take a npc extremely fast and abandon. this cant be done if you favor ballista. however if you dont mind losing some troops you can take an npc quickly as long as you use something quick like archers and warriors. personally its worth the loss because you get prestige when you have loses… the higher the losses the better. and its very easy and quick to make archers and warriors. And thats all it takes. I mean for those of you that dont want to work and gain what you want go ahead and buy what you need to get these things. However you shouldnt sit there with your 10 cities that you got in one day with maxed buildings and maxed researches wondering why you still get your ass handed to you. face the facts… you spent money on a game your probably not going to play very long just so you could look like a badass player. because you might have bought your way to 10 cities and high pres. fact is though that you didnt get the experiance of the game along the way. then there are people like me who play through and gain it the “hard” way and only have 2 cities and still manage to colonize all 10 of your cities at once. anyways here is a kind of guide.
get a high intel hero and train a ton of archers.
(attack a single valley/conquer it/abandon/repeat)
lvl 1 valley: 50 archers.(ive only gotten cross medals here)
lvl 2 valley: 100 archers.(cross/lion/rose)
lvl 3 valley: 200 archers.(cross/lion/rose)
lvl 4 valley: 300 archers.(cross/lion/rose)
lvl 5 valley: 400 archers.(ive gotten honor/lion/courage)
Lvl 6-9 valley: (this is actually a way to get fast medals and not lose troops. I dont know how many to use to not lose any here. that is if you can at all. you cant go above 5 on npcs without losing troops) (lion/courage/wisdom/freedom/justice)
lvl 10 valley: believe it or not it takes roughly 15k archers 15k warriors and 10k pikes but you will lose troops. (lion/justice/nation)
your best bet at this point is to make a ton of ballista and make npcs around your city(take a flat/build city/abandon)
lvl 1 npc: 25 bal.(lion/cross/rose/honor is what ive gotten here but not a lot. lvl 1 npcs are like a beginners supply farming town more than medal farming. youll need 25 bal and 35 trans for that)
lvl 2 npc:50 bal(+50 trans for farming supplies) (lion/honor/courage)
lvl 3 npc: 150 bal(+150 trans for farming supplies) (lion/courage/honor/rose)
lvl 4 npc: 200 bal(+450 trans for farming supplies) (lion/courage/wisdom/honor/freedom) (and a shit ton of delicate/flawless gems)
lvl 5 npc: 500 bal(+500 trans for farming supplies) (lion/courage/wisdom/honor/freedom)
lvl 6-10 npc: this is where your going to start taking heavy loses. there is no avoiding that. but its a good thing. like i said above losses = prestige.
lvl 6-9 npc: (lion/courage/wisdom/freedom/justice)
lvl 10 npc: (lion/justice/nation)

edit for that post. just incase anyone got confused about the hero thing you need more than 1 hero and the higher the intel the better…. attack lvl is useless unless your trying to conquer a npc.

I get a lot of delicate and flawless gems from lvl 4 NPCS I have obtained 5 lion medals but no rose medals.
I changed to attacking valleys for rose medals but I still cant find any (I find any medal but rose)
Is there any stradegy/tactic i could use to improve my chances of finding rose medals?

on age2 i am in server na18 and to get rose medals all you have to do is attack lvl 3 swamps with 200archers and leave no more thatn 15seconds between the attacks i got the 2 medals i needed in 14 hits.

I got 15 cross medals by attacking a level 3 lake continually (using the abandon tecnique) and got 3 lions too. I also got tons of flawless and delicate gems by attacking a level 4 npc as well as a courage Medal. But no matter what I can’t find honor medels. Any tips???
