Honor Medals
Honor medals can be found in the medium medal box which you can buy in the Evony store for 120 cents or get in the wheel of fortune if you’re lucky. They serve the same purpose in Evony Age 2 as in Age 1. If you award honor medals to your heroes each will increase their loyalty by 20. It is usually better to save your medals for gaining ranks and titles however. You need a total of 25 honor medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 20 for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.
Looking for honor medals can be quite difficult, but from my experience so far on Evony Age 2 you can find them attacking valleys level 5-8 as well as NPC cities level 4-7. I am sure you can find these medals other places as well, but this is what I’ve gathered so far. If you have gotten honor medals from attacking so far this age, I’d be happy if you could post where it was from as a comment here, so I can make the Finding Medals in Evony Age 2 guide as up to date and accurate as possible. I’ve been getting some honor medals on na7 from attacking ncp1′s with 800 warriors as well as lev 5 and up valleys.

….. got all my medals from hitting lvl 1 and 2 npc’s and valley’s only…and been getting a lot of honor medals on lvl 1 npc,lion medals on lvl 2 npc …..and courage medals on lvl 4 npc….

Not sure how often they come up though, I’d estimate I’ve probably done around 20-30 NPC1 attacks though so far and only seen that 1 honor and 1 Lion, I’ve had 5 delicate gems though and a lost armor script

i found this honor medal with my 1st foray after obtaining the productions of ballistae techs at min for ballistae too sent the fodder for extra protection not sure if it played into medal and gemstone drop or not

Well I was getting quite a few honor medals from NPC level 1 cities. Enough to reach Baron and Colonel. However, after taking those two promotions the honor medals have stopped completely and now I am getting Courage medals instead???? That would have been nice after the next two promotions that both require Honor medals, but I pretty much sucks for now.

First two honor medals I found were on a lvl 10 swamp and lvl 9 lake, so it’s not just the lv 5-8 range

On na2 I’ve gotten 15 honors from attacking lvl 3 npc’s by sending 5 waves of 200 ballista with a 175attack hero. Add 5 minutes of camp time after 1st attack and continually after each wave. Hope it helps…

Lady Boop came up with this formula. It works for me. Today alone I got 5 honor medals in 7 waves. Send 600 warriors, 50 transporters and 10 ballistas against lvl 1 npc’s. Not only will you get honor, but also courage, lion and cross. Plus you get flawless and delicate gems, mikes scripts and lost armor script. Good hunting.

With very few losses I obtained a few items over the evening!

u can get honor medals in a level 1 NPC. try attacking it with 3 different heroes, or more. got 3 so far in 15 min. also it drops in a level9 valley….

I have gotten a very consistent drop rate of honor medals from lvl 7 forests, i’ve heard a lot of similar stories, particularly about forests. I farm them sending waves of war/archers with rainbow minus cavs because they always die :p

When telling us what you got from the NPC’s & valleys, can you also let us know, what you sent to get the medals. Letting us know you found a honor medal in a NPC is great. but tell us what you used to get it. ex 300 archers… Thx

Up until I reached the title of Baron, I found all of my honor medals attacking level 10 flats. I had a hard time finding them anywhere else. I would send a rainbow archer without calvary, so 1 warrior, 1 scout, 1 pikeman, 1 swordsman and 5K-10K archers depending on the inital scout report. I only scouted one time. I send a wave of attacks using the same amount of troops I listed above until the attack report came back with no troops left in the flat. Once no troops are left in the flat I would not get drops anymore. I set the waves about 2-3 min apart and didn’t use the attack and abandon method. I get a horrible drop rate using that on valleys. Instead I make sure my valley slots in my town hall are filled so I can’t conquer anymore valleys. I have not noticed a difference using different attack hero’s. I have gotten the same outcome using my Intel hero with 32 attack as I do using my attack hero with 162 attack. Also my troop loss is minimial to none.

lvl 3 NPC use ballistas plus transports to carry plunder back for your level of archery (see table in wiki for NPC lvl3) and send 1 of each other kind of troop – got honor, courage and gems

I found 4 honor medals yesterday attacking lvl 4 npc’s on NA5 150 ballista’s on two of them I also got holy water and a delicate gem

I have gotten 3-4 medals from the lvl 1&2 npc’s I do. It works out to 1 about every 10 attacks when I keep the duration around under 35 rounds. so far from what I have seen they have been 33 rounds so far.

to cptn I also am on NA5 I have been using between 100 and 200 ballistae on lvl 1 &2′s I will give it a try on higher and see if I can achieve no losses.

I earned a honor medal attacking a NPC lvl. 1. The hero leader was lvl. 10 and the defender leader was lvl. 14. I overpowered by using at 51 balista & transporters.

honor medals ? i’ve taken 8of them on lvl 2,3,4,5,6,7, NPC and on lake lvl 7 and gems? minimum 100at day with 8% drop rate of treasure . Ifind a lot medals at a day almost 5 medals a day

The drop rates seem to be different on different servers. Please note your server when reporting medal success. Seems pretty clear, now, that hero characteristics do not influence medal drops. Achievement buffs might, but it’s too complicated already, so I can’t detect any effects. I suspect that the more rounds in a battle, the better chances of a drop. Have only gotten treasure drops from wave 1 and 2 in an attack on NPC cities, never from the loyalty dropping later waves. Have not recognized any effects of valley type on medals. Have only gotten to Baron/Colonel so far, so don’t know if rank/title of player as any effect.

spent 4 days with out a single medal dropping burning 8+ hero’s energy daily.
decided to focus some lvl 1 NPC’s this morning as per suggestion on here. already have 1 honor and lion and of course 4/5 gems and 1 lost armor script.
Using repetitive attacks, no wait time, 850 warriors, 1 of each for a little sexy rainbow.
While I would say this the way to go my previous dry spell has me thinking only certain valley’s give medal drops in a day.
If I’m wrong it wouldn’t be the worst theory I have heard lol.
beat some level 1 npc’s mercilessly and give it shot.

I think world NA19 is rigged. Everyone I talk to rarely finds medals in any NPC or valley. Takes thousands of hits.

you have to alternate attacks between vallys (lvl 10) and ncps (i use lvl 4)

Hitting level 4 NPCs today and scored 2 honor so far. No waves involved, just a straight hit with 180 balls + 250 transports. I haven’t had any luck with valleys. NA 16. Good luck

I found 1 honor medal in a lv3 NPC that i attacked with 271 balista and 350 transporters on NA17 (Vambrace).

2 honors today from lv3 and lv4 npc and 1 lost script. I have 2 cities and sending out 8-9 heroes (intel 64+) from each city non stop each day to different npc but mostly lv1-4 npc and plundering lv5-10 unoccupied valleys. I used to complain no medals a month ago but all of a sudden I am getting an average of 5 per day from everywhere I hit.

I have had a LOT of success over the last few days attacking lv 3 npcs with 250 ball and 100 trans have dropped 6 in 12 hrs. Heros attack is 120-140.. I attack every hour because they only drop when the defences are maxed for me
Please respond with other advice or your experience with this method.

I have had somewhat sucess with level 1 npcs through about 30-50 attacks an na21(claymore) I have been testing this and got an honor medal after 45 attacks with politics heros.

I play on NA28 and here’s what worked best for me so far… So far tonight, I have send 4 waves of 900 warriors that are 5 minutes apart to a level 1 NPC. On 3 different sets of waves, I earned a Courage Medal, an Honor Medal, and an Honor Medal in the 3rd set as well. Between the 3 different sets of waves I gave the level 1 NPC 30 minutes plus to regenerate and it was the 1st initial wave that got the medals to drop. I am noticing it is important to let the defenses regenerate fully and win using minimal amount of troops. This was only in 1 night however. I will try again at the same strategy tomorrow night and see if I’m successful as well. However, I tried the same strategy at a different level 1 NPC from my main and only got gems to drop.

NA19 hell here. Need 6 more honors for the remaining 100 medal achievement, but NA19 is not dropping any honors lately no matter what I try from above. I’m getting plenty of other medals.
Any advice on NA19 for honors?

All of these methods work, I have tried them. The best drop rate for me so far has been attacking lvl 7 grasslands/swamps with 2000k arch + 2000k warriors, and abandoning the valley…good luck! Haven’t had good success with npc’s on na33

it seems you can pick them up anywhere. some days i get them from a level 1 ncp and some days up to a level 8
just keep attacking best thing to do is send max of 3 waves to a ncp at once after 3 attacks you wont ever get anything, so u got a level 10 city u can farm 3 or 4 diffrent ncp at once
best ive done got 24 meds in 1 day

Hitting valleys or NPCs over and over again with no break AND including scouts in the package seems to be the key. WHen hunting for Rose and Lion I attacked exclusively with 500 scouts over and over and secured 6 Rose and 7 Lion within a couple of hours from just one lvl 2 and one lvl 3 forest! Honor medals seem to be a bit harder to find but they are dropping. Hope this helps.

ive gotten a few off of level 1/3 NPC’s. its just the days u pick i think. i was farming the other day and found 3 honor medals in about 20 minutes. now ive been farming for almost 2 weeks and havent found sh**. i think theres a certain amount u can find per month or week or something. i dunno. i need 1 more honor so i can be general which means i can be earl. i am on NA13. this crap is getting on meh nerves GRR!!

well honestly i got these pretty easily.
what i had was 10 colonised cities to get the achevment that increaces treasure drop rate by 4% dosen’t sound much but it helps a lot.
then i attacked a lvl 7 desert with 5200 worriors this gives you a range of medals mostly being honors and courages you may not need corages at the moment but they will come in useful for later titles in the game. good luck and happy hunting (you will take losses mainy being like 1,200 worriors on the first annack but these are significantly reduced after the first attack. i used the abandon and retake method to gain all my medals

I tried most of these methods and none of them worked, I then sent 7 combos of 2000 warriors & 1000 archers to a lvl 7 hill with various lvl heroes, had an intel hero and politics hero in the waves, waves were 10-15 secs apart and i abandoned the hill once i took it.
In the space of 2hrs i received 8 medals, 3 honor, 3 courage & 2 lion medals
This is the only way that worked for me. Good Luck

Hi guys, today i had attacked lvl7 hills for almost 60 times and had got a couple of Honor medals and i had tried attacking lvl6 valleys but i had only got Rose, Cross, Lion medals, so use 2000warriors 2000 archers against a lvl7 valley and get Honor medals in ease…

I’ve gotten all of my honor medals from lvl4 npc’s. I also found that it helps to have your colony buff up to 4% at least, this may not seem alot, but it helped me. NA35

The honor medals I had drop in from NPC’s (1 to 4) and some valleys, almost always with a pol. hero attacking.
When I needed just 1 more it stopped. I tried everything hundred of attacks but the missing honor medal didn´t fall.
Finaly I was lucky on the wheel, gained a medal box with 4 honor medals.
Now I need 7 more to get my next promotion.

I have hit about 100 lvl 1-5 npcs today and only came up with one honor medal. Getiing plenty of gems tho and since I’m not taking any losses I guess its worth it. I would like to get some medals tho

I hit lvl 1-3 npcs with 50k warriors…there are very little losses but are warriors so are easy to replace. They will drop twice a day for you if you are persistent enough. High intel heros help also.
Also lvl4 npc with 550 balis 550 transporters, it’s more than needed but it works well. You can add 500 warrs and i put in 50 scouts…the losses increase the drop rate chance.
