Hero Leadership, Speed and Energy

with 21 comments

There seems to be some new Hero Attributes in Evony Age II. That is hero leadership, hero speed and hero energy. Hero energy seems to be a certain number out of 100. Every time your hero marches he looses 4 of his energy points. These energy points will recover over time.

Speed and leadership however I’m not sure what are yet. Leadership can be over 100, and I heard of one player having a hero with 120 leadership. When it comes to speed I think it might be a bonus to how fast troops led by that hero would move, but I have not tested this out yet. Will update this articles as soon as I find out more.

  1. The speed definitely speeds troop movement up although the time in the March screen still shows the slower time which will be annoying for coordinated attacks such a instantly taking NPC 10s. You’d probably have to take the movement bonus off all your heroes when doing something like that.

  2. Well, I’ve noticed something. The Leadership will always equal the hero’s level. The speed will always be based off of their level’s in increment’s of twenty divided by two, so if you have a level ten, the speed will be 0. if you have a level 20, the speed will be ten. if you have a level 30, the speed will be ten still, if you have a level 40, the speed will be 20. Just what I’ve noticed after reading this and looking over everything one time.

  3. CORRECTION!!! Speed is determined by your equipment on the Mount. It specifically states it in there. I’m such an idiot.

  4. Anyone know how energy effects performance in battles? Or if it does at all?

Im wondering if it modifies the combat factors or buffs in any way.

  5. I believe that 1 attack is 2 energy, so if you hero have 0 or 1 energy you can not send it out.

  6. if your hero has no energy he can’t march, not sure if lower energy effects performance in battle but i’d assume a hero with low energy has a higher chance of being captured in a battle

  7. hero level doesnt always reflect leadership. I took an historic hero and he is lvl 30 and leadership 156
(base stats at lvl 1 when reset were 67 90 75.. awesome.. get 1 seriously)

  10. well i have not tested it, but i just thought that the leadership might affect the number of troops u can send out with a hero, maybe exceed the 100k troops number u can usually send via rally spot… just created recently new account in age 2, so havent tested it yet…

  11. The speed attribute speeds up your travel time, it does so by dividing the normal travel time by 1+0.1*MountLevel, ie if it normally takes 140 seconds to get somewhere and you have mount level 4 then it will be divided by 1.4 giving 100 seconds.

Not sure about leadership, I read on the forums that each level allows you to command 1000 troops effectively and that if you send more out than this the hero can support then their are increased losses. I don’t think it increases losses directly, I think it reduces the effectiveness of the extra troops so they might only be fighting at half their capacity or something, ie if you send 100k archers with a 60 leadership hero, I suspect 60k will be at full attack and the remaining 40 will attack at a reduced level which if I had to guess would be half.

You definitely seem to get a lot more losses attacking NPCs with a low leaderships level, I go around 40k losses with one around 60 that in age 1 I’d have expected only around 20k losses with, I’m attacking with 90+ leadership now and getting losses similar to what I would expect

  14. well, I am more interrested in how to regenerate your heros energy, doest hat have anything to do with intellence in evony 2 ? because one of my heros toke 5 hours just to generate 15 energy
normally all my heros is just at full energy, do belive it costs 4 energy every time you send out a attack

  15. I noticed while medal farming that at first 3 or 4 of my heros would bring back medals each round, after a while it drop to 2 and then to 1 and eventually to one medal between my 8 heros every 2 rounds. The only difference I could find was that my energy for each hero was reduced. Has anyone noticed this too? Is it possible that energy effects medal drop?

  16. From my small AgeII experience I gather that Leadership allows the troop to fight more effectively. i.e. 60 leadership means 60% of the force fights effectively.

  18. i think that only 60000 of your 100k troops would receive the heroes attack bonus

  19. I’ve also noticed that high hero energy affects treasure/medal drop. I often get a medal in the first ten or so attacks of the day when the heroes are fresh.

Today I got two medals in the first ten attacks on a level one flat, one cross, one rose.

    Forty more nothing gained.

Then I switched city and got a lion medal in the first ten runs again against a Lvl one flat.

I’ve started farming from both my cities now to maximise the availability of fresh heroes.

  20. Leadership multiplies the hero’s attack strength by a certain percent each point. for ex: say you have 100,000 archers and a normal lvl 100 hero with 170 atk and leadership 100. and you fought 100,000 archers with a lvl 60 Historical Hero (HH) that had 150 atk and 180 leadership. The HH would win every time. i don’t recall what it is multiplied by…

  21. The hero leadership can be raised by 30 % for clicking uprise it only last for 6 hrs but can be stacked hence facebook is required to do this so any time your alliance tells you to click there uprise click it lol and click as many as you can the more the better cuz if you have a lvl 100 hero and click the uprise you will then have a lvl 100 with 130 leadership then its time to start trying to steal a HH and thats also the time if you are ready to start taking your 12 as you will see dramatically less losses.
