Guide to the Evony Facebook Application
In this guide I will go through all the cool stuff you can do when you integrate your Evony account with your Facebook account. All of this goes through the Evony Facebook Application, and make sure you use the official Evony application to send gifts to other players, there are actually a fake gift application out there. To make sure of this, always use the Facebook toolbar inside of the Evony client to send gifts to other players.
Integrating your Evony account with your Facebook account is easy, just click the blue and white Facebook icon to the left of your Evony screen, just beside the city list. Once this is done, there are several things you can do with the Evony Facebook Application, and I’ve written in detail about each of these features.
I have also written some general tips on how to get the most out of the Evony Facebook application. I suggest you start with the first article, as making people from Facebook your Evony allies is the first thing you should do.

i was wondering just what exactly we get when we link an old account with a new one….so far all it did was close the old account and none of my stuff has transfered over …..

I’ve heard of that happening to some players, I’ve got no idea why it’s happening but there are several complaints in the Evony forum about it

There is no way to unlink your facebook account in evony. The wrong facebook account got linked to my evony account and i tried changing to the correct account. I was able to unlink the account in facebok but now no account is linked perod. It just says that the evony account is linked with “facebook account:” and nothing afer. When you try linking any account it says that the evony account is already linked with another fb account.
AgeII seems to be way to buggy for a production software. They should have had it in beta for a much longer time.

Is there a limit on how many allies you can have? I know they set a limit on how many you can visit to help with production at 30 per day but is there a limit on the number of allies in total?

I am also having problems with FB. My Evony account is linked to the wrong FB account and I am unable to unling it. It seams odd that you can link but not unlink. Nistakes are made, people are always making little ones. Why the can not be a simple fix is beyond me. So now here I am well into the game and not able to utilize the FB system to help my alliance and my allinance help me. A very BIG issue in my small world. Needs to be fixed by someone fast. With 6 thousand plus people per server and 12 servers, thats around 72,000 peole min so far. Come one people make things correctable when people make mistakes.

i have tried numerouse times to link my fb account with my age2 account and i cant for whatever reason when i get to the log in it just keeps refreshing evry time i click anything on the page any ideas?

I am having the same problem. I tried making a new account to link with evony in the hopes of fixing them. My alliance has had issues trying to visit my empire as the game will tell them I have not created a character. I was unable to link to the new account and lost my allies in the process. I went back and linked to my original facebook account and now my allies are showing up again. I am able to visit their empires but I have to yet to see if they can visit mine. I will keep you posted.

Ok, first I’m having the same issue as a few others, I cannot unlink my FB account from my Evony account so that I may link a new FB account designated to Evony with my account. Very annoying and frustrating.
Second, for those of you having problems with the in-game “Visit empire” button on your ally, instead click on the gift box at the bottom of your ally pane and it’ll load up the “Give a free gift” window in Faceebook. From there, at the top, click on “Allies” and from that page listing all of your allies, click on “visit empire” to visit them daily. Tell your allies to do the same. There is a bug right now in-game with the “visit empire” button that will take you to a different server, with the error message “Character not yet created” which is annoying. So there’s the fix to that issue.

You should post what each of the facebook popups do. I’ve been searching to see what all of them do and no one has them published, be a pioneer man and make it happen. Cause some of these pop ups i accept them and it gives you no clue to what it does at all…and your left wondering if it even did anything.

The face book link cannot be unlinked when leaving one server and joining another. Is there a fix for this bug? If only evony was as quick at helping and fixing things as they were to take you money for coins… we MAY get something accomplished w/o so much aggravation on our part. Come’on, wake up and help those that PAY to keep this FREE software online!

morning,
Hey the facebook apps are combining our game frineds.
Example I play Farmville and I play Evony II
I goto send gifts to my allies in Evony and when I click allies all my farmville frineds are in there so I have to remember each person name that shouldnt get a gift sent.
Please look into that.
Also Evony II doesnt properly fit in your monitor range, I click my heroe and I cant hit the X button most times so I have to refresh.
Lastly when I click a gift you guys left by my hall it just stays there me just looking at my town hall. Again I have to hit refresh.
I must hit the refresh button at least 10 times in 15 minutes and I do not exaggerate. I know games in beta so here ya go with what to fix. ty

can someone PLEASE address the inability to unlink facebook accounts? Mine is also linked to the wrong account and i cannot find a way to fix it. Lots of people are saying the same thing and it looks like the evony gods are ignoring the problem.

We’re now into August and still no fix for this. It’s been an issue since day one of implementation. Really??? Come on Evony…go contact FB and find out how they do it. This can’t be that difficult. Anything you can do with programming can also be undone. Enough excuses and dedicate some time to this! Meanwhile…my alliance is juiced on resources and troops. Awesome. GG.

How does one link facebook to a different server..for example signed up on NA15 and is a knight there and also plays on NA20 and is a Baron there….when sending gifts it only shows Knight package….any suggestions?

Hi all i just stumbled across this page in my general gathering of info on evony and noticed that alot of ppl seem to be having trouble changing the linked accounts they have, I have managed to changed my link account from Server na1 to server na24, these are the steps i took.
1. goto main evony page http://www.evony.com
2. do not log-in yet, click the My Account icon at top of screen.
3. log-in when asked to, it will then take you to a page containing Account Protection, Secondary email and last of them “Link Account Between Facebook & Evony.
4. click this sentance it will then take you to a page saying Extreme caution needs to be exercised to perform this action & below that will be the info on your current linked accounts, log-out of the account you have linked and log into the new account & that should changed your linked accounts.

How can you call this a complete guide, when there’s not even the list of facebook gifts present and what they can do for you.
BTW, I’ve read a lot of things in this so called evony guide that don’t match up to the truth.
I suggest you guys boast a lil less, try out things a lil more, and put more info up.

There is an even easier way to switch linked accounts that i have found out, to do this is so simple and can be linked and relinked to any evony server in a couple of mins.
First log into fb as normal and then use the evony game link there to open your current linked server, once evony is open just open a new tab and goto main evony log in page, now just click play and it will give you a server list, select the new server you want linked and open it, now close the first evony page you opened, play this server for a min, then close it and refresh your fb, now login through the fb evony link and it should open your newly linked server you were playing last.
