Getting Facebook allies quickly
To get Facebook allies from your server as quickly as possible I suggest joining a Facebook group. You should only add allies that are playing on the same server as you. The best way to do this is to join a Facebook group, and I suggest the group for this website, the Evony Age 2 Guide group. Click there and the group homepage will open in a new window. Then you click “Join” to join the group.
Now you are able to make posts to both the wall and in the discussion forum of the group. What I suggest you do is to make a post on the wall where everyone can see it with you server number. “Looking for allies on NA8, add me” or something like that. Also scroll down the wall and add everyone on the same server as Facebook friends. Once they accept your friend request in Facebook, you go to the Evony game client and add them as allies using the Facebook toolbar, read more about how to do this here. I dont suggest you make allies on the same server unless they are in your alliance because your allies see all the detailed info on your city. Cords,barracks, resources, etc etc.

That isn’t true. The only thing you see (or they can see) is the outline of your city. They can see the amount of barracks, level, etc. but they don’t see amount of troops, fortifications, etc. As well, visiting empires on other servers does not give and get you the bonus packages as previously thought, which is why people want allies anyway. So you need to add folks from your own server to make it profitable for you. You can visit up to 30 empires a day and collect a hefty sum of resources.

I agree with kellen. I prefer allies from other servers or actually people I am allied with on my server.

i think u should not make allies from the same server and u can from any server if they are in your server they should only be in your alliance and even that is a risk because of spies

Everyone above has points that are right.
If you do not have allies on your world you will not get bonus packages.
The trade off is people can and will get your cords. If you do not mind being a colony or if you are all ready a colony it is a easy source of materials. The amount goes up with each title so as stated it can become a heavy source of materials that are not “taxed”.
If you opt for not having allies on your server you can give them free gifts once a day and be able to collect gifts from the in game posts. I only have server allies that are part of our alliance group. More than enough to go around.

When I first started playing I didn’t realize that you can indeed see other peoples coords. But YOU MOST DEFINETLY CAN SEE YOUR FB ALLY’S COORDS! You just hover over the city icon on the right side of the screen when your visiting their empire.
This is a great feature. Being able to trade resource packs with people you trust really helps you build quick. You trade resource packs by visiting the ally’s empire(click on thier face and choose visit empire from the drop down menu) and then click on the help gather resources button. The best thing about this is you get a resource pack for giving a resource pack. So they add up quickly. But like I said earlier use with caution: ONLY FB PLAYERS YOU CAN TRUST.
A side note: I have indeed been able to share resources with people on other severs. This feature does seem to be a little quarky so I dont know if I’m not supposed to be able to or if the players who have a problem with this are just suffering from a glitch.
