Evony holiday mode
Holiday mode, or vacation mode as it is also called, is a feature of Evony that is hardly ever used. I believe the main reason noone uses this feature is that it is very expensive. It will cost you 10 Evony cents every single day. For a two week vacation that would be $14. You can be in holiday mode as long as you want to, as long as you have enough Evony cents. Once your account runs out of Evony cents your account will be thrown out of holiday mode.
To enter holiday mode you click the image of your avatar and then change your status. You can choose between normal, truce and holiday. You can enter holiday mode for a minimum of 2 days and set it to auto renew until you are out of Evony coins or you get back from your vacation. You must stop all construction, research and recruitment to be able to enter holiday mode. You can also not dispatch any troops to valleys, have pending orders in the market or any incoming attacks on your cities. If you have your troops in any of your alliance members cities you have to withdraw these before you can enter holiday mode.
During holiday mode your status will be frozen and no resources will be gained or consumed. You can not be attacked under vacation mode and your alliance can not send any troops to any of your cities either. If you can afford it I guess holiday mode is a decent feature of Evony.

When I started Evony, I thought the name of the game is Evony-FREE forever…why is it that so much of the game requires a CC?

1) The alternative is starving troops and coming home to all your cities colonized.
2) I have as many complaints about Evony as anyone, but fact is it costs money to run this game, I have no problem with Evony trying to make a buck or two.

Ryan I don’t know what game you are talking about but in Evony the highest your city can go is to LVL 10

1) pay
2) don’t pay
choice is yours..
don’t blame Evony.
This is a players request, so they do listen to their players.

joe there r citys called Historic citys that a player can control and ‘live in’ levels 12, 14, 16. What game r you playing; and everything in evony can be found for FREE, your CC is just a short cut. Dont like it dont play.

can you declare war on a player in holiday mode, as ive found a inactive with a HH now this been same for over a week every time i hit attack, scout or colinize it says u cant perform that action against this player. this age2, it lets me declare on his citys ive donen so 4 times just wont let me do out else so maybe he had cents before he quit and hit holiday mode or maybe some1 else found he had a HH and colinized but to have no suze for this long not sure what is up???
