Evony Archer Towers
Archers towers in Evony, also called Evony ATs, are simply the best fortifications there is. They stand on top of a massive wall shooting at enemy units from a comfortable position. They will gain an extra 4.5% shooting range for each level your wall is, giving them the second highest range of all the units in Evony. The only unit with higher range is the defensive trebuchet, but that unit is way too expensive and take too much room.
With a battle range of 5000 the archers towers can often shoot at enemy troops for many rounds without anyone hitting them back. I try to get as many archer towers as possible on my walls, about 14,000 of them on a maxed wall. Attacking a city with this many archer towers is very costly even if there are no other troops defending it.

i disagree with that it is easy to take down 14k archer towers i do it on a daily bases. alll u need to do si send 90k archers with 1k layering and as many trans as u want. the real archer killer is traps if u have 14k archer towers and the rest traps it is hard to kill yea

when my walls are done to lvl10 i have 17k towers and the rest of the slots a mix if trebs 9(100 only) traps and abatis. With minimum 100k archers in city and open gates the only thing i worry about is repeated scoutbombs when i am offline

I would say that if you don’t have the archers to man the towers, then they are practically useless- that’s why it is no big deal when taking down some people.

archers towers automatically come with archers….you dont need to train additional archers for the AT’s, they’re already there.

I had a player with 18217 archer towers. He had only handfuls of layering (max 500). 120k archers and a lvl 100 hero with 203 attack. Another player and I hit this city with atleast 7 attacks in order to clear out the archers and archer towers. Why would 18217 seem to be a magic number where it took 7-8 100-125k rainbows (different mixtures)… in order to clear?

Both of our research is 10. I had hit two of the attacks with a lvl 150 hh. Other attacks a lvl 100 queen.

if the guy doesn’t have any traps, and if the guy has some troops as layering, then ATs are very effective
