Evony account rules
So what is allowed in Evony when it comes to account sharing and having multiple accounts? Evony representative Dawnseeker made an update to the Evony account rules last week, and this just just a quick summary of what he said.
Playing a single account from multiple locations is allowed. I think we all knew that. So you can log in to your account from whatever location you want to. He also said that account sitting was allowed, I didn’t know this to be honest. What this means is that you can have someone log into your account and play it for you while you are away on vacation. During this time you are not allowed to log in to your account, and you also have to tell an Evony representative about this before you do so. Your account security is still your responsibility however, so if someone runs away with your account, too bad, Evony will not help you there. The person sitting your account is allowed to do anything pretty much, NPC farming, building, fighting other players, alliance wars, whatever.
Something which is not allowed is account sharing. You can not play one account together with a friend, or share multiple accounts together so that you can help each other defend, share resources and troops. Basically it is one person per account at any given time, that’s why you can not log into your account if someone is sitting it during your vacation. One player using multiple accounts on the same server at any given time for any reason is totally illegal, and players doing so often find themselves banned pretty quickly.

Thats rot..
I’ve reported many ADMITTED multi’s to evony and not ONE of them has been banned.
They were all paid up players.
There are more “multis” in this game than players. On server 86 you cant even get into some of the top alliances unless you have at least 2 accounts.
its a freakin joke. I no longer play because of it.

Where I come from, its the honourable thing to do, to report people breaking the rules and ruining everyone else’s good time.
Of course, you probably think its the honourable thing to do, being a cheat and a liar. But then, with a handle like yours, I cant imagine common decency is high on your agenda.

In my experience there are far more players with multiple accounts for a variety of reasons.The fact of the matter most of the biggest players in this game have multiple bot operated accounts and spend a good deal of money on the game.Evony is free but,lets face it it is a for profit business.They will not remove a players last city unless its set for removal if that player has spent money in the past.Its allways going to be that way.

Here is how i see it, those of you that are sitting there whining about the people with multiple accounts are more than likely the ones that are getting beat down because you are unable to contemplate the inner workings of the game not to mention the fact that if you had actually taken the time to stop and think. The comments about the paid players is really lame stop stretching for a reason or excuse. THERE ARE OVER A MILLION PLAYERS ON HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! So what makes you think that they can read every little complaint or whine about everyone???? They cant and to be honest if you want to know something….. there are plenty of other games so if your not gonna pay anything to help keep the game flowing and ur just gonna complain go play some other game i hear neopets keeps the babbies calm. GROW UP AND SHUT UP AND CUT PEOPLE SOME SLACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are people defending multiple account holders. The rules are there so we all have an even playing field and the best man wins. Does taking a shotgun to a boxing match make me a good boxer, I don’t think so but hay if your self esteem is so low that being on top makes you feel good even if by cheating enjoy your life, what there is of it

I’m afraid complications would come from multiple people using the same computer. We have 3 family members playing the game here. All have seperate accounts and maintain their own, but we only have one computer. We just take turns using the computer. So how do they determine multiple people against multiple accounts for one person? It wouldnt seem fair to ban people if their IP addresses are the same. Some people can’t afford multiple computers. How would this be addressed?

I know someone who does this with facebook accounts just to get the application bonuses that is kinda unfair but it’s awesome if you have multi accounts like that

I would like to know how to reset my account. I am on facebook and got into this game to have fun. But with a new server opening soon (IE one where I have a chance to grow before I bump heads with other players) I would like to get onto that server and redo my city. Does anybody know how. If there is a game admin here who can email me, please do.

I have read all the comments that have been made, and also spoken with players on the game..
If you want to get to the top and be the best you need to play it as much as possible. One person i spoke with plays 8 hours a day, everyday.. He is very highly ranked in such a short space of time.. If you cant do that then I advise joining an alliance, make some friends and conquer the world as a team, after all isn’t that what this game is about??
Multiple accounts is going to happen, as there are no sure ways of policing it, if it gets to you that much, join them.. do it yourself… then get on with it!!

My alliance is being targeted by a huge alliance with ridiculous fire power. I have been told there is no way to succeed in this game against such players without at least two accounts, some suggest 3. If the point is to have fun, then the game in it’s current state is a waste of time. It’s impossible when you are targeted and bullied by people who are at the top of the pile. Maybe Neo pets IS more my speed…

i have one if there is no cheats in the game then y is there bots and y can somepeople share accounts that would be cheating wouldnt it well evony needs to get there facts striaght cuz that sounds like cheating to me also dropping prestige jumping in and out of an alliance to drop prestige come on no cheats what a joke

Evony will go the way of other online games. Down the crapper, because they think of money over players. I say let the cheats play with themselves and support Evony on their own. It is not worth the time and effort when Evony allows breaking of their rules.
