Evony Age 2 Guide

I have just read through the updated version of Advanced Strategies for Dominating in Evony, and it is really good. This strategy guide now has more than 80 pages with useful strategies and tips not many players know about, and I believe all Evony players will find lots of useful information in it. This Evony guide will be useful for both Evony Age 1 and Evony Age 2 players. The first 50 pages are filled with general strategies and tips that can be used on both type of servers. The quarry is where you produce stone for your empire in Evony Age 2, it is the same in Age 1. Especially early on a server production of stone is really important for growing your Evony empire quickly. The reason is that stone is the most important resource when it comes to building construction. Just look at the wall, you need a huge amount of stone to get this construction up to high levels.

Even though stone is really important early on a new Evony Age 2 server, prices for stone is usually starting to decrease in week 2 or 3. The reason for this is that stone is not very important at all when it comes to train troops, and that is what you will be spending most of your resources on when you get a little bit into the game. The nation medals are the most powerful medals of Evony Age 2, and they can be found in the senior medal box. You can buy the senior medal box in the Evony store for 240 cents, or you can get lucky and get it from the wheel of fortune. Awarding nation medals to heroes will increase their loyalty by 60, but you should rather use them to gain ranks and titles. You need a total of 20 nation medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 20 for the titles and 0 for the ranks you need.

I suggest you only attack level 10 NPCs when looking for nation medals, seems to be the only way to gain them that I’ve found at least.  If you have gotten nation medals from attacking so far this age, I’d be happy if you could post where it was from as a comment here, so I can make the Finding Medals in Evony Age 2 guide as up to date and accurate as possible. Wisdom medals can be found in the medium medal box which you can buy in the Evony store for 120 cents or get in the wheel of fortune if you’re lucky. They serve the same purpose in Evony Age 2 as in Age 1. If you award wisdom medals to your heroes each will increase their loyalty by 30. Usually it is better to save your medals for gaining ranks and titles however. You need a total of 15 wisdom medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 15  for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.

Looking for wisdom medals can be hard, but from my experience so far on Evony Age 2 you can find them attacking valleys level 5-8 as well as NPC cities level 4-7, this is the same as with the honor medals. Awarding freedom medals to heroes will increase their loyalty by 40, but using medals for this purpose is a waste of them in my opinion, you should rather use them to gain ranks and titles. You need a total of 15 freedom medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 20 for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.

Looking for freedom medals, or any of the top 3 medals really, I suggest you just focus on NPCs. The rose medal is one of the medals you can find in the junior medals box. The rose medal increase a hero’s loyalty by 10 when rewarded, but it’s not really a good idea to use the medals for this purpose. It is better to save these medals for gaining titles and ranks, especially in the early ranks the rose medals are important. 3 of the different title promotions need rose medals, and you need a total of 20 rose medals to gain the titles up to Prinzessin in Evony Age 2, 15 for the titles and 5 for the ranks you need.

You do get some rose medals from the start of the game in the packages you get there, to help you with the first titles and ranks. In Evony Age 2 it seems you can find more rose medals when attacking low level valleys level 1-6 and NPCs level 1-2.
