Lord of Ultima
Hi, just letting you all know about a new game I’m playing these days, called Lord of Ultima. It has several of the same elements Evony has, but it is much more advanced and a much better game, and it’s completely free as well. I’ve made a website to get you started with the game called the Lord of Ultima guide, so please check that out and tell me what you think.
The game has awesome graphics, technologies and lots of features, there are currently about 60 servers and the game is becoming more and more popular. The goal of the game is to build 8 palaces to level 10 with your alliance, which is really hard and takes a long time. Most servers run for at least half a year until any alliance wins. There is no max level in the game, some players have more than 400 cities actually. I am still enjoying Evony, but lately I have been playing Lord of Ultima more and more. Really hope Evony makes some updates soon to Age 2, and hopefully Evony Age 3 will come out sometime soon as well.
New Evony Age 2 server today!
Today Evony is launching a new Evony Age 2 server, called the Age II Broadsword server. If you are struggling at your current server, why not try your luck at a brand new server where everyone will start from scratch. Playing online strategy games I always try to start at a new server from day one, that gives you a good chance at becoming one of the top players, and now your chance is here, if you’re reading this today that is.
Also Evony launched some game updates earlier this month, mostly just bug fixes both for Evony Age 1 and Evony Age 2. I’m really wondering what the developers are working on these days, as there have not been any major game updates for a long time. Maybe we will see Evony Age 3 sometime soon, anyone knows? Please leave a comment, I am very curious.

Happiness packages and new promotions
Evony really likes to have various packages and promotions out that players can buy to get various advantages in the game. In like every single holiday there are special holiday packages out there, like Easter egs, Christmas chests, New Year’s packages, etc. Players have gotten used to having the option to buy these promotion packages all the time. One of the most popular package items is the lower upkeep bonus, having your troops eat 50% less is a great advantage for end game players with huge armies.
After the Easter promotion ended this year, Evony decided to launch the Happiness Packages that will remain in the game all the time, even if it is not a holiday season. Evony product manager, davemata, said in a post that Evony has some awesome new promotions in the works that are dramatically different from what we have seen over the past year. It will for sure be very exciting to see what kind of promotions these are, maybe we will see some of these being launched in the summer? I will try to keep you up to date here on Evony Guide. List of Historic Heroes and Stats
I’m sorry for not being able to update this Evony Age 2 wiki website for a long time. I’ve been very busy with other projects, but I think I will be able to find more time to put into the site from now on. This post is just a list of the names of all the historic heroes that I have seen so far in Evony Age 2. The list is probably not complete, so if you know of any Evony Age 2 heroes not listed heres please do post a comment so that I can add them to the list.
The stats of the different heroes are fixed and not random, and the top attack heroes I’ve seen so far are Henry IV with a base attack of 99, Nadar Shah with base attack of 98 and Saladin, Hannibal and Genghis Kahn all with base attack of 97. I will try to get all stats for all of the heroes posted here as soon as I am able to gather the information, any help is appreciated. The list is posted below and will be updated as often as possible.
Protected Cities and Conquest status
A while ago Foxybunny made a thread in the official Evony forums requesting some feedback on some changes they are planning to make to Evony Age 2. As you probably all know, it is currently not possible to launch normal attacks against other players in Evony Age 2, and many players are not happy with this. It is not possible to conquer other players cities either, like it was in Evony Age 1.
One way Evony is thinking about changing this is to let players choose if they want to be in conquest mode or not, they can change their conquest status on and off as they wish, probably with some delay in between. If your conquest status in turned on you can make normal attacks against other players who also have conquest on, and you can also conquer their cities. Read the rest of this entry »
Attack button of Evony Age 2
Many Evony Age 1 players have complained that there is no attack button in Evony Age 2. In Age 1 they were used to being able to both plunder other players cities for resources as well as conquering them and making them their own. In Evony Age 2 the game developers decided to get rid of the attack button and switch it out with the colonization button when you select other players cities.
Having no attack option has made Evony Age 2 a much easier place for new players, since you can keep your resources safe and there is no way for other players to steal your resources or capture your cities. Many players feel this make Evony Age 2 too peaceful however, and would like to bring the attack and plunder option back. Read the rest of this entry »
