Evony Strategy Guide

Evony seems to be getting more and more serious about stopping people from cheating by using third party software to get an edge in the game. Two days ago Evony representative Dawnseeker made a post in the official Evony forum letting everyone know that they had enacted their second enforcement sweep in the past week. He said that both of these sweeps against Evony cheaters targeted players who were using illegal third party software to gain an unfair advantage over players who play the game without cheating.

According to Dawnseeker all players targeted by these sweeps were using illegal third party software or websites to connect to Evony. No players were suspended for any other reason. He also said Evony is committed to protecting their honest players and will continue to aggressively pursue and remove rulebreakers from the game. Read the rest of this entry »

This is just a short guide on how to join the Evony Age 2 Beta. Everyone can join the Evony Age 2 Beta as long as they are active enough. Every 24 hours inactive players are deleted from the Evony Age 2 Beta server, I know this as my Beta account was deleted once cause of this reason. This means that when you get started with the Evony Age 2 Beta test you have to log in every day to make sure your account won’t be deleted.

When joining the beta server you log in with a login and password you use already on any of the other servers, only chose one login as it is not allowed to have two accounts on the beta server. Do not try to register a new account on the beta server, that will not work, just type in your login information from another server even if you have never played the Evony Age 2 beta before.

If you get the message “We’re sorry, but we’ve reached the 10,000 active logins quota for Evony: Age II live beta today. Please try again in 24 hours time.”, it means the beta server is full right now. You have to wait till they delete some players, which they do every 24 hours, so just try again tomorrow. I know there are lots of Evony bots, city management scripts and other types of tools out there for Evony. I’ve written about these cheats for Evony before in various articles on this website, but I’ve decided to stop doing so now. With Evony Age II coming out soon I believe it is much better to try to get rid of this bot problem. I believe Evony Age II looks really good, and I hope bots and city management scripts won’t be as much of a problem in this new version of Evony, as it has been in the old one. Many of these bots and script don’t even work anymore anyways, and to my knowledge there are no tools like these that work for Evony Age II. Read the rest of this entry »

If you get an error message when you try to sign up it probably means that all the 10,000 signups for today has been used and you have to try again tomorrow. Only 10,000 new players can sign up to the Evony Age II Beta every day. I decided to share this sign up link here so that all my readers get the chance to check out Evony Age II as soon as possible. You are not allowed to post this link in the official Evony forums, but you are allowed to share it will your friends and alliance. Many players have had the problem when they try logging in to Evony Age 2 that they get a Blue Screen and the game is not loading. In the forum Evony give the following advice on how to fix this.

• Quit your browsing session
• Clear your Cache, History, and Cookies
• Update your Flash Player
• Attempt to log back in

If this does not help you get rid of the blue screen they advice you to post in the forum telling them your web browser, operating system and the current version of your web browser.

Yes, at last Evony Age II is here! And it looks really cool! I have a link and will keep trying to log in and test it out, in the Evony forum there are lots of pictures and information about it. To log in and try Evony Age II you need a invitation link to it, so ask your friends and other people you know if they have a link. The Evony Age II link I have seems to be down right now, but I’ll get a link posted here as soon as I have one that works, so check back in.

In browser game Evony there are 5 ranks a player can have in an alliance, that is member, officer, presbyter, vice host and host. The officer is then, as you can see, the second lowest rank you can have in an alliance. There can be up to 10 officers in an alliance, so as long as you are fairly active in your alliance chances are you will eventually be awarded the rank of officer. An officer doesn’t have too many privileges in the alliance compared to a normal member. The main thing he can do which a normal member can’t,  is to invite new members to join the alliance.
