Evony Age 2 Guide

Stars and star levels is something totally new in Evony Age 2. In Evony Age 2 you can upgrade the star level of your hero gear, and that way you make the gear more powerful. However, upgrading star levels is not that easy and can be quite frustrating.

First thing you need to know about star levels is that you need to use delicate gems or flawless gems in each upgrade, and you do the upgrade in your workshop. You can choose how many and which type of gem you want to use for the upgrade, and you will be told the success rate of your upgrade before you complete it. In this guide I will go through all the cool stuff you can do when you integrate your Evony account with your Facebook account. All of this goes through the Evony Facebook Application, and make sure you use the official Evony application to send gifts to other players, there are actually a fake gift application out there. To make sure of this, always use the Facebook toolbar inside of the Evony client to send gifts to other players.

Integrating your Evony account with your Facebook account is easy, just click the blue and white Facebook icon to the left of your Evony screen, just beside the city list. In this guide I will give information on where to find the different types of medals in Evony Age 2. There is one page describing each medal and where to find it, and if you have some more information on one type of medals I would be happy if you could go to that page and post the information as a comment. Historic Cities is the best new features of Evony Age 2 in my opinion, and conquering one of these is quite a challenge. The historic cities comes in 4 different types and they are spread all over the server, and you can find more details about each of them further down in the article.

The Historic Cities can be conquered by players, and the owner of an Historic Cities will have a great advantage when it comes to controlling the area around it, as an Historic City can levy both resources and troops from cities surrounding it. This means that you can actually steal both troops and resources from your neighbors when you hold one of these cities, which is pretty cool. How wide of an area the historic city controls depends on it’s level, the the higher the level of the city the harder it also is to conquer. Read the rest of this entry »

This is just a short guide on how to join the Evony Age 2 Beta. Everyone can join the Evony Age 2 Beta as long as they are active enough. Every 24 hours inactive players are deleted from the Evony Age 2 Beta server, I know this as my Beta account was deleted once cause of this reason. This means that when you get started with the Evony Age 2 Beta test you have to log in every day to make sure your account won’t be deleted.

When joining the beta server you log in with a login and password you use already on any of the other servers, only chose one login as it is not allowed to have two accounts on the beta server. Do not try to register a new account on the beta server, that will not work, just type in your login information from another server even if you have never played the Evony Age 2 beta before.

If you get the message “We’re sorry, but we’ve reached the 10,000 active logins quota for Evony: Age II live beta today. Please try again in 24 hours time.”, it means the beta server is full right now. You have to wait till they delete some players, which they do every 24 hours, so just try again tomorrow. Many players find themselves having a problem with declining population in Evony. This can be a very bad thing for them as you need a high population for several things in Evony. Early on a new server having a high population is important to gain a good tax income, with a declining population you will loose tax income and not be able to grow as quickly as you would otherwise. Getting medals in Evony enables you to gain prestige, higher rank and title, and enables you to build more villages, so it’s pretty important knowing where to get them. You can buy medals using real money if you want to, but it’s pretty expensive, so most players probably wants to get them by themselves. In this guide I show you where to get the different medals, and how to get them most efficiently. There are 9 different medals, cross medal, rose medal, lion medal, honor medal, courage medal, freedom medal, wisdom medal, justice medal and nation medal, and some are much harder to get than others.
