14 million prestige or more in one day
Many players are doing what is called a prestige run these days, using a few days to gain millions of prestige. Prestige runs have been done several times and is quite easy to do. So a prestige run is not really something new to Evony, but still most players don’t really know how to take advantage of the prestige run strategy.
First thing you need for a prestige run is a lot of archers, since you will be killing these archers to gain this prestige. To gain 14 million prestige you would need about 1 million archers, 28 million prestige would be 2 million archers, etc. This is assuming you get 14 prestige points for each archers who dies. So how do you get this much prestige for killing archers then? Read the rest of this entry »
Catapults, are they any good?
Catapults are the most powerful units in Evony, they throw huge rocks at the enemy from a very long distance. Catapults are really cool, and for an attack force nothing beats a 125k catapult attack. There are many problems with them though, number one is that they take an extremely long time to build and you need level 10 barracks to build them in. Many players have 100 total barracks that are level 9, but very few have even close to this many level 10 barracks. In addition to level 10 barracks you also need level 10 metal casting and level 10 archery. Read the rest of this entry »
Scouting in Evony
Getting intelligence before making attacks in Evony is really important so you don’t end up loosing battles and wasting troops attacking someone with no resources. NPCs in Evony don’t have any scouts of themselves, so you don’t have to worry about loosing your scouts in a battle when you try to scout them. The only problem scouting NPCs in Evony is that you need high enough informatics technology to get an accurate scout report. If your informatics level is too low, you won’t get any information at all from your scouting report. Read the rest of this entry »
Rainbow attack level 10 NPC city with almost no losses
A Evony rainbow attack is layering your main attack troop, usually archers or cavalry, with other types of troops to reduce losses. In these attacks on a level 10 NPC barbarian city the player looses almost no troops at all cause of his layering. The troops used are archers, warriors, workers and transports, 100k troops total. It is very important that you have maximum technologies when trying this, and you also need a hero with 130 or more attack power. The higher attack power of your hero the lower losses you will have. You can also use penicillin and war horn to reduce losses even more. The numbers of different troops used in both of these attacks are listed below.

Farming level 10 NPCs with minimum losses
Everyone knows that to manage to feed a large army you need to farm NPCs over and over. You start out with farming NPCs with ballistas, and you keep ballista farming level 5 NPCs for quite a long time. At some point your army will grow so large that you can’t keep up with the food eaten just farming level 5 NPCs.
Now you have to move over to level 10 NPCs, and the best way to farm these is with archers. Over at the Evony forum a player name DCJerboa made a thread about a week ago with the list of about 50 of the best NPC level 10 attacks, and the list gives lots of information about how to minimize your losses. Instant conquering of level 10 NPC using camp time
This Evony guide will show you how to conquer a level 10 NPC in less than one minute by timing attacks from several different of your villages using camp time. This NPC can be far away from you, as far as 100 miles, so it’s just like an advanced teleport without the delay. This can be really useful if you want a forward base far away from you to launch attacks from.
The number of troops you need to do this is about 130,000 archers, 400,000 warriors and transports. You also need a high attack hero as well as maxed technology. Most players have way more troops than this on older servers, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Read the rest of this entry »
Video Guide for conquering level 10 NPC
This is a video of me conquering a level 10 NPC village today after the new patch. The sounds is not that great, but I had a lot of fun making it so I decided to post it anyways. This is from 1. June after the ballista nerf patch, and even with this patch conquering a level 10 NPC isn’t that difficult. It took me 42 minutes from first attack till it was conquered. Here are the video and the troops that I used as well as losses. Read the rest of this entry »
