Evony Age 2 Guide

Abatis is the second best fortification there is Evony in my opinion. It is very important to have some of these in your city defense, but not too many. For a city with a maxed wall I usually go for about 1500 abatis. The great thing with the abatis is that it only affects cavalry and cataphracts, so it is not possible to kill off someones abatis with warrior cleaning waves. The abatis also extends combat range to 5,000 which in some battles is really important. A city without any abatis is really vulnerable to cavalry and cataphract attacks.
